Dear Expectant Mother,
We want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to present our profile to you. We are extremely grateful for your selfless and brave decision to choose adoption for your baby. We realize this is a difficult choice for you, and there is no way to fully describe our appreciation for you and your sacrifice. We want to reassure you that your baby will be loved unconditionally and will be supported and guided throughout his or her life.
We will provide your baby with a safe, loving, and nurturing environment throughout his or her lifetime. Your baby will be the center of our lives and will receive endless love from not only us but from all of the loving, supportive family and friends in our lives. Your baby will fill our hearts and theirs with even more love, joy, and happiness.
Again, we want to extend a grateful heart for considering us as prospective parents. Your sacrifice gives us hope we can grow our family, and we look forward to beginning the journey of parenthood with you. Thank you ever so much for getting to know who we are and what we have to offer to your baby.
Our relationship began in 2013 on Match.com. The friendship we initially started with evolved into a strong, loving, committed relationship, and two years later, we were married. Our relationship is based on laughter, honesty, and open communication. We enjoy going on day trips and weekend getaways, spending time with friends and family, and hosting get-togethers. Our careers are diverse as Keith is a drug and alcohol counselor while Phil is a physical therapist. Keith is a caring, empathic, and honest person who enjoys collecting Transformer action figures, bowling, roller skating, and spending time with his niece and nephew. Phil is a positive, dependable, and fun-loving guy who is an avid gardener, and enjoys being outside, exploring new neighborhoods while walking, and spending time with our friends.
Our home is extremely warm and inviting with our favorite part being the newly added patio. This addition allows us to have family and friends gather more often. We live in a quiet neighborhood with friendly and trustworthy neighbors. Our home is spacious and is always decorated for the holidays and allows us to hold family gatherings during those times. We are also very proud of our garden in the back yard, where we grow our own fruits and vegetables during the spring and summer. Our dog, Dakota, enjoys the large, fenced-in yard, which allows him to roam and explore freely. Our community holds numerous festivals in the summer and also St. Patrick’s Day and Christmas parades every year.
Our Extended Family
Family traditions include annual Fourth of July cookouts where all of our families gather together from both sides. Keith’s sister and brother-in-law and their two children, along with aunts and uncles, and eight cousins and their children gather with Phil’s two brothers and his parents at Keith’s father’s house. We enjoy pizza parties that include our families, friends, and neighbors two to three times a year, and we also celebrate with an annual summer cookout at our house. We also enjoy spending time together as a family for several days during the summertime in New Jersey. We swim in the ocean, relax on the beach, and take bicycle rides on the boardwalk and through the town.
Several weeks before Christmas, we host an annual holiday party where family, friends, and neighbors stop by to eat, mingle, and enjoy the festivities. Christmas Eve is a special night where we continue with an old-school tradition of making manicotti with sauce and gathering both families to celebrate together and deliver presents for the children. For Thanksgiving and Christmas, we split time between both families to enjoy and celebrate the holidays.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have been considering adoption for about a year now. We realize that now is the right time in our lives to start the process. We believe we have a lot of love to give to a child. We want to teach our child the same values that were taught to us by our parents and their parents before them. We want to instill confidence, tolerance, friendship, and love in our child so they may grow up and pass along those values to other individuals. We came to the decision to adopt as we want to continue the story of our relationship and further expand our family with a new addition. Keith has two cousins who were adopted, while Phil has a younger brother who was also adopted.
