dear expectant mother

Thank you for taking the time to look at our profile. We admire your strength as you consider adoption. We know it is with a heart full of love that you are on this journey. We want to learn about your values, traditions, and culture and bring these into our home to make them part of ours. We want your baby to know you and be proud of where he or she came from. We promise to honor you in any capacity that feels right for you.

We have loved being parents. We promise to bring your child into our home with the same love we have for our biological children. We promise to be there for every moment, every dance or piano recital, and every baseball game or spelling bee. There will always be a cheering section excited to share all of life’s victories with your baby. Life can also be filled with heartbreak, and we promise to be there in those times as well. While we may not be able to fix everything, we promise that no matter the circumstance, we will be there with open arms and so much love.

We also promise to be there for you, however you want us or need us. We are here with open hearts.

We promise to be there for every moment, every dance or piano recital, and every baseball game or spelling bee. There will always be a cheering section excited to share all of life’s victories with your baby.

About Us

After seven years of marriage, Kelsey still says our first date was her worst date. Set up by friends, Robert planned an early morning hike. While we disagree on the difficulty of the hike, we do agree it wasn’t ideal. Robert promised a better second date, and after that, we both fell fast. It may not have been the best first date, but it has been the best marriage, and we wouldn’t change a thing. Robert is dedicated to his family and career. While working full time with kids at home, Robert earned his master’s degree. He is the business operations manager for a pharmacy. Kelsey loves helping people. She has worked in the beauty industry for 12 years and now works from home doing compliance for a cosmetology school. Being a mom is her first priority, and our three boys are her biggest blessing. We also run a small clothing boutique.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a safe and small farming community only minutes away from a large city. We love our quiet neighborhood with beautiful views of fields and mountains. With quick access to shopping, doctors, and entertainment, we truly have the best of both worlds. While we love to go out, home is our favorite place to be. Kelsey loves baking and decorating for every holiday, and Robert loves watching movies with surround sound, fixing cars, and building things for our home. Our house was recently built and has a large yard. Our subdivision has kind neighbors and young children ready for playdates. We love to be outside, whether hosting barbeques, riding bikes, or playing fetch with our dog, Brutus.

Our Extended Family

We come from big families. Robert has five siblings, and Kelsey has four. We have 13 nieces and nephews ranging from age ten down to six months. Most of our family lives close by. We love getting together for Sunday dinners and playing games. Our kids often tell us their cousins are their best friends, and they are always excited to see them.

Our parents are amazing and the best grandparents! They love to make cookies, read stories, and play hide and seek. Both grandmas are incredible cooks and teach our kids something new every time they visit. Between grandparents and aunts and uncles, we have never had to hire a babysitter. They are always well taken care of if we ever need to be away from them. Everyone is so excited for our adoption. They pray and support us with whatever we need.

Our favorite traditions are the ones with family! We love celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving, our Fourth of July barbeque with amazing fireworks, and hunting on Christmas Day for the hidden Christmas pickle. Whether that is with all the extended family or just the five of us, it always fills our hearts with love and makes us so happy.

What Led Us To Adoption

After having friends adopt, we knew even before marriage adopting was something we wanted to consider. We both come from large families and have always wanted that for our own family. We have been blessed with three sons, whom we adore. Each pregnancy was more difficult than the last, and after a few challenges, Kelsey had a hysterectomy. We both had an overwhelming feeling our family wasn’t complete and that someone was missing. After a lot of prayer, we knew, without a doubt, adoption was the answer.
