Thank you for reading through our profile. Although we have yet to meet, we have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for your strength. This is undoubtedly one of the hardest decisions you will have to make and one that you probably have never made before.
We are new to this, too! Once we officially decided to adopt, it became clear this was the best path for us. Should you select us, we look forward to moving through this journey together. We are happy to respect any wishes you have for your baby and promise our unwavering gratitude to you as the child grows up.
We plan to raise your child in a home filled with love, trust and plenty of fun! We will always be there to emotionally, morally and physically support your child. Our goal is to raise them to be the best person they can be without pressure or concern - only unconditional love.
Sean moved to The United States from London about five years ago and we quickly became friends. As we got better acquainted, we realized we were falling in love among the hustle and bustle of New York City. We were soon engaged and, by the time we finally said our “I do’s” in Amsterdam of 2017, we were not only proud husbands but also best friends for life.
As we began to plan our lives together, we decided to leave our tiny studio apartment in Manhattan and move to San Diego County for more space and sunshine.
We complement each other in style and personality. Sean is grounded and pragmatic and Anthony is lively and adventurous. Through our relationship, we’ve both learned to be more patient, considerate and appreciative of each other's differences. Our unique perspectives and life experiences have helped us to build a healthy, balanced and loving partnership.
We live in a family-oriented suburb near the beach in Southern California. We try to keep our home warm, active and fun. Sean loves to do as much gardening and cooking as possible and Anthony has a real knack for decorating and cleaning up the mess Sean always seems to make in the kitchen.
We have two very special - and a bit spoiled - cats. Miss. Binx is partially deaf and very sweet while her little brother, Senor Diego, is always causing mischief and keeping us on our toes.
Our Extended Family
Anthony’s parents and most of his extended family live in Northern New Jersey. He is especially close with his brother, sister and close knit circle of cousins. He often plans activities and day trips with his 4 nieces and nephews - like a trip to the circus or an ice skating show. His family gets together every Sunday for pasta and wine and, when Christmas rolls around, he organizes a game of Family Feud which can get as loud as it is fun!
Sean grew up in Zimbabwe and had two sisters and a brother to keep him busy, as well as lots of cousins, aunts and uncles. He has amazing memories from the time he had in Africa as a child, especially because, as his family grew up, they left Africa for a brighter future in cities like London, Dublin and St. Petersburg. They still get together as often as they can and, although it can be hard not living closer, it makes the time they do spend together even more special.
What Led Us To Adoption
More than anything, we both believe we have unconditional love to give and are excited to begin the next, and most important adventure, in our lives. We realize that having the privilege of being able to adopt is truly a gift.
We both come from big families -Italian and Irish- and grew up surrounded by siblings, aunts, uncles and plenty of cousins. Between us, we already have 8 nieces and nephews and over 30 first cousins. Some of our favorite childhood memories are spending birthdays and holidays with loved ones. We would be honored to help create similar memories for another child.
