Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for taking the time to read through our profile. Although we have yet to meet, we have nothing but the utmost respect for your strength in considering adoption for your child. This is undoubtedly one of the hardest decisions you will ever have to make.
We are new to this, too. Once we decided to adopt, it became clear this was the best path for us. Should you select us, we look forward to moving through this journey together. We are happy to respect any wishes you have for your baby, and we promise our unwavering gratitude to you as the child grows.
We plan to raise your child in a home filled with love, trust, and plenty of fun. We will always be there to support your child emotionally, morally, and physically. Our goal is to raise them to be the best person they can be, without pressure or concernーonly unconditional love.
Sean moved to the United States from London about five years ago, and we quickly became friends. As we got better acquainted, we realized we were falling in love among the hustle and bustle of New York City. We were soon engaged, and by the time we said “I do” in Amsterdam in 2017, we were not only proud husbands but also best friends.
As we began to plan our lives together, we decided to leave our tiny studio apartment and move to a place with more space and sunshine to allow us to grow.
We complement each other in style and personality. Sean is grounded and pragmatic, and Anthony is lively and adventurous. Through our relationship, we have both learned to be more patient, considerate, and appreciative of each other's differences. Our unique perspectives and life experiences have helped us to build a healthy, balanced, and loving partnership.
We live in a family-oriented suburb near the beach in Southern California, and we try to keep our home warm, active, and fun. Sean loves to do as much gardening and cooking as possible; Anthony has a real knack for decorating and cleaning up the mess Sean always seems to make in the kitchen.
We have two very special一and a bit spoiled一cats. Miss Binx is partially deaf and very sweet, and her little brother, Señor Diego, is always causing mischief and keeping us on our toes.
Our Extended Family
Anthony’s parents and most of his extended family live in Northern New Jersey. He is especially close with his siblings and close-knit circle of cousins. He often plans activities and day trips with his four nieces and nephews, too, such as a trip to see an ice skating show. His family gets together every Sunday for a pasta dinner and, when Christmas rolls around, he organizes a game of Family Feud which can get as loud as it is fun!
Sean grew up in Zimbabwe with two sisters and a brother, as well as lots of cousins, aunts, and uncles. He has amazing memories from growing up in Africa, and as he and his family grew, they sought bright futures in cities like London, Dublin, and St. Petersburg. They still get together as often as they can, and, although it can be hard not living closer, it makes the time they do spend together even more special.
What Led Us To Adoption
More than anything, we both believe we have unconditional love to give and are excited to begin the next, most important adventure in our lives. We realize that having the privilege of adopting is truly a gift.
We both come from big families一Italian and Irish一and grew up surrounded by siblings, aunts, uncles, and plenty of cousins. Between us, we have eight nieces and nephews and over 30 first cousins. Some of our favorite childhood memories are spending birthdays and holidays with loved ones, and we are eager to create similar memories for a child of our own.
