State we live in: Arizona

dear expectant mother

Thank you for considering us as prospective adoptive parents. We can’t imagine the emotion and energy it takes to work toward this decision, and we hope you have a good support system around you as you make it. As parents, our goal for your child will be to provide love, laughter, and a sense of security. We want your child to grow up in a happy and well-balanced environment. They will learn kindness, compassion, gratefulness, and humility so they can carry these traits throughout their life. They will be surrounded by family and friends who will also provide love, guidance, support, and respect throughout their life. They will always be encouraged to follow their dreams. We hope you choose us and we can all travel down this path together, learning about each other and providing a warm, safe, and loving home for our child.

It is hard to summarize our whole lives in a few paragraphs, but we hope we have given you a glimpse of us, our pets, our home, and some of the things we hold dear. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for considering us. It is our deepest hope that you share some of the same passions and values and choose us, but no matter what, we know you will make the absolute best decision for your child.

We are so excited to be given the opportunity to welcome a child into our family.

About Us

Thomas is the Chief Operating Officer of an automotive software company, and Adam is the Regional Account Manager for a GPS company. We met seven years ago, were married in 2016, and have talked about having a child together through adoption for well over six years. A lot of our time together is spent smiling and laughing, whether we’re cooking or playing music, and we can’t wait to share our joy with a child. We have a mutual affinity for travel and enjoy experiencing as many different cultures as we possibly can. We are excited about traveling with a child someday. We both come from large families and are so lucky to have an amazing support system of both close friends and our families.

Our Home & Pets

We have a contemporary four-bedroom home in a large city, which provides ample access to local shopping, dining, weekly farmers markets, festivals, and live music. We picked this house so that we could entertain friends and family, from hosting meals to having a barbeque and playing music. We have two Chinese crested hairless boy dogs and an Afghan hound girl dog along with two chickens. All of our pets are extremely friendly and can’t wait to meet their baby brother or sister.

Our Extended Family

Adam’s parents, two sisters, and extended family all live in the same city as us, which allows us to spend lots of time together. We have family gatherings almost every week. Adam’s oldest sister and brother-in-law have four children. Adam’s extended family celebrates every holiday, birthday, and special occasions together, typically with a large meal and gathering.

Thomas’s daughter recently graduated from high school and has just completed her first year at University of Florida, where she is majoring in journalism. Thomas enjoys calls and texts with his daughter and travels to see her in Florida as often as possible.

Thomas’s parents, four brothers, and extended family all live in Texas. Two of Thomas’s brothers and sisters-in-law have one boy and one girl each, and one of his brothers and sister-in-law have three boys. We travel to Texas twice a year to spend time with Thomas’s family, once for Thanksgiving and once in the summer at a cabin on a lake.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have a number of friends who were adopted who have been such positive examples of how both adoptive parents and children can thrive together, making lifelong, wonderful families. We are also blessed to be friends with other couples who have chosen adoption to build their families. Being able to see their family bonds throughout the years has reaffirmed our desire to move forward in our own adoption journey. In discussing our desire to raise children with our closest friends and families, the decision to adopt was clearly the best choice for us. We are so excited to be given the opportunity to welcome a child into our family.
