Tiffany & James

Family Type: Traditional
State we live in: Texas

dear expectant mother

At this moment, you are probably feeling a million different emotions we can’t even possibly imagine. We don’t know who you are or where you are in this journey called life. We do believe you are reading this for a reason. We believe you were drawn to this moment just as we were drawn to write you this letter. We want to thank you for the selflessness and courage you are choosing. We have been challenged with infertility, and as much as we have wanted a child, we have never given up the belief that “God’s will, will be done.”

We thank you for having the strength to bring this precious life into this world. We thank you for considering us for this opportunity to be the parents we are meant to be. We can’t wait to share our holiday traditions with a child. We can’t wait to watch holiday movies and make cookies and our favorite meals together. James is an excellent cook and is great at teaching. Tiffany is crafty and can’t wait to build popsicle stick houses and paint messy canvases. We will be those parents with the baby carrier on the back of our bikes and a hiking backpack for the little one. We promise we will care for and love your child with every ounce we possess. We would be eternally grateful to you for being the answer to our prayers.

We promise we will care for and love your child with every ounce we possess. We would be eternally grateful to you for being the answer to our prayers.

-Tiffany & James

About Us

We met through work almost six years ago. Our relationship progressed very quickly, and we married on our two-year anniversary. We are currently a family of six, although we are the only ones without four legs. We have two dogs (Charlie and Bella) and two cats (Buddy and Brooke). We love taking road trips in the hill country and exploring little towns around us. We often try new restaurants but mostly stick with burgers, pizza, and Mexican food. We enjoy working out, walking the dogs, and kayaking. Our favorite hobby is hunkering down on the couch to watch our favorite shows together…and then falling asleep on the couch. James is a department manager and Tiffany is a store director for the same retail company. Our organization treats us extremely well, and we both enjoy what we do.

Our Home & Pets

We love our home and our neighborhood. We are one block away from the neighborhood park, where we walk the dogs. At the park, there is a gated pool and a playground we use when our nieces come to visit. It’s an area we genuinely look forward to taking our own children to someday. We love our house because the main areas are so cozy yet roomy enough for our two dogs and two cats and our family to hang out comfortably. Our backyard is relaxing for BBQs and playing yard games.

Our Extended Family

Our parents are extremely excited about our decision to adopt. On Tiffany’s side of the family, we have five nieces, ages 4 to 15. We also have one nephew, who is 20 years old. Tiffany’s parents, sister, and brother are elated at the thought of a new baby in the family. We have two family gatherings each year, in the spring and the summer, usually at an in-state beach or a national park that has water. We see Tiffany’s grandma and aunts on most trips, and there is always a BBQ at the end of each visit.

On James’s side, there are no children aside from his brother and sister, both of whom are in their 20s. James’s parents are divorced, and his dad has his husband married in 2015. James’s mom and dad are close friends and maintain a wonderful relationship. We have a family gathering every month as well as almost every holiday and take one big trip yearly. Our yearly trips usually involve flying somewhere new for all of us. James’s mom, dad, and stepdad are extremely involved and excited that we want to bring a child into our family. James’s siblings are equally excited about becoming an aunt and uncle.

What Led Us To Adoption

When we met, we talked about adoption as a part of our future. We both felt the calling to adopt in our hearts. We always thought this child would be an addition to our biological family, but we have had several years of fertility challenges. We believe adoption has been in our hearts because it might be our only way to give our love to a child. We have met several friends and colleagues who have adopted, and their stories continue to solidify our decision. We believe our journey toward adoption begins now. We have so much love to give and cannot wait to share it with a child.
