Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for considering us to raise your child. To us, this opportunity is a blessing. We are excited to grow our family. If chosen, we plan to love and care for your child in a supportive environment. Part of what makes us an excellent fit to be parents is our flexibility. Owning our own business provides us with a flexible schedule so we can be available to go to all of your child's functions, help them with their homework, teach them, and grow with them. Our home will be a place for us and your child to gain wonderful memories together. We can see us now in the back yard with our dogs and your child.
We want to assure you that your child would be coming to a safe and loving environment. We as a couple do not know your situation, but we do know we are truly grateful for you even to consider us. There is a saying we like to say in our house: The Lord would not bring you to it if you were not meant to get through it. We just want to humbly thank you for even taking time out to read our profile and considering us.
We own and operate a small business together. There is one physical location, but we are a nation-wide company. We currently have a staff of thirty-four members, and we love all thirty-four of them as if they were our own family. Anthony works from home on the marketing side and primary handles the household tasks, while Trevor goes into work and runs the day-to-day operations. As a couple, we are pretty simple. We love to travel, work with animals, go off-roading, take lake days with friends and family, and just spend time together. Some of the best memories are with our family and fur babies.
We bought a new home in January of 2019. Our home is located in a family-friendly neighborhood. Part of the appeal of this home was the homestead with the activities center for our neighborhood. Every week they have group activities for kids, such as family movie night, kids’ yoga, preschool playtime, and an indoor bounce house. This is also the location of the neighborhood dog park, pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, and volleyball courts. The house is located across from the lake, which gives us plenty of fun activities. We have three dogs: a Great Dane who has maternal instincts like no other, a collie mix who is full of energy and loves to play, and a lovable blue heeler.
Our Extended Family
We both have a great extended family. One of our family members recently had a baby of their own. Our parents come into town about once every two to three weeks and stay with us for a weekend, so as you can imagine, we are a very close-knit family. Every year we always have a family get-together with our extended family as well as try to do multiple cookouts/fish fries every summer together. Some of our best memories with extended family were when we were helping Anthony’s parents remodel their home. Part of what we would like to teach our child is the value of family and the value of having that loving support system there to help you grow, learn, and get through any rough time.
What Led Us To Adoption
Something that we bonded over when we first became a couple is that we always wanted a large family and adopting would allow us to do so. We see ourselves having a total of four amazing children. We would not let us both being gay males stop us. We have looked into other possible options, but without any doubt, we agreed adoption was one of the best fits to start and grow our family. We are in the perfect time of our lives to open our arms, hearts, and home to a child.
