dear expectant mother

We are so grateful you are here. A baby is the greatest happiness we could add to our lives. You are our miracle. We would love nothing more than to share our incredible joy with you and your baby.

You would be giving us the opportunity to build a family of our own, fulfilling a lifelong dream for both of us and our families. The community your baby would be coming into is one of deep love and inspirational hope; it is not uncommon for us to experience a sense of beauty and magic in our neck of the woods. We can honestly say that with all the planning and creating, a baby could come into our lives tomorrow and we would have everything we need.

We have so much respect for the brave and loving decisions you are contemplating, and we promise we will speak of you and your decisions with only the utmost respect, love, and gratitude as your child comes to understand and learn about their story. You will always be known as the incredible mother who helped us become a family. Please find some peace of mind that your child may not have our eyes or our smiles but your child will have all of our hearts.

A baby is the greatest happiness we could add to our lives.

About Us

We have been married for 12 years. Our love was instant, and we both knew this was something special. Brandy’s love of mountain biking, Whitney’s love of yoga, and our combined love of travel are some things we are so excited to share with a child.

Brandy about Whitney: “My light is my wife, Whitney. Whenever someone asks me what my favorite thing about her is, my answer is always ‘You need to meet her, see her smile, and hear her giggle, and you will fall in love with her too.’”

Whitney about Brandy: “Brandy is one of the kindest people I know. She has a huge heart, especially for animals. One of my favorite things is to watch Brandy play with the kids next door. She becomes a kid herself and can make the most mundane activity come alive. It's one of the reasons I know she will be a great mom.”

Our Home

We are lucky enough to have found our home nestled away in nature but still close to town. It is a gorgeous Craftsman home on five acres, and we spend most of our time outside sprucing it up. It's our own little oasis, a beautiful and safe place for everyone to explore. Our next door neighbors are incredible humans. He is a firefighter, and she was an EMT; they have two little ones who know us as Aunt Brandy and Aunt Whitney. We have gardens we share as well as a big round driveway that their children ride their bikes on. We can't wait to share it with a little one.

Our Extended Family

Family traditions are very important to us, and we all gather for Christmas every year. It’s a magical time when we stay up late talking till we are too tired to move and, of course, exchange a few presents. It's the time we feel closest to our families, and we want that closeness to continue for generations to come.

Traditionally, we travel twice a year to incredible destinations, like New Zealand, Iceland, Scotland, Germany, London, and Spain. We were lucky enough to be able to bring Whitney’s mom on her first trip to Europe to see Italy. Sharing these magical journeys with our family is everything to us. When we aren’t traveling, we are always spending time with those we love the most.

So many of our friends have little ones, and they are almost as excited as we are to have us become parents and have all the children grow up together. Our family is so incredibly supportive of adoption. Both sides have expressed that this baby will be embraced and loved.

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption gives us so much hope. We have watched our close friends adopt and have seen how well it has gone. Similarly to us, they struggled for many years to try to get pregnant, but eventually they were approached by an expectant mother about adopting her baby. They connected so well and continue to have a great relationship. We want you to have the foundation and interaction that best supports whatever you may need. Whether that is an open, semi-open, or closed adoption, we want you to know we have room in our hearts to give this love to both you and your baby.
