While we are so excited to begin our journey of parenting, we cannot even begin to imagine how tough this decision is for you. We applaud you for taking this courageous step. We have longed to be parents for years. We thank you for taking the time to review our profile. We are a committed couple and have a strong, loving relationship. We both have large, supportive families and there's no shortage of cousins for your child to grow up with. We will provide every opportunity for your child to grow, learn, thrive, love life, and make an impact on someone else's life just like you are doing.
We also want to help you through this process and look forward to meeting you so we can learn about each other. We felt adoption was the best option for us because we not only want to help the child, but we also hope to give you the confidence to know that your child will be raised in a home with love, compassion, and understanding. Through your courageous decision, you are helping our dream of being parents become a reality. Again, thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about us; rest assured that if you choose us to share your precious gift with, they will be loved unconditionally.
We have been in a loving and committed relationship since 2002. Our love and foundation have only grown stronger through our many years together. Our biggest dream is to expand our family and share that laughter and love with all those around us.
We love our jobs - we both established our real estate careers years ago and we work together as a family team. In our free time, we can be found together walking our two dogs or cooking our favorite recipes in the kitchen to enjoy with our family and friends who share a big part of our lives. Will enjoys movies and reading whenever Greg is outside watering the garden or planting flowers.
We live on the west coast of Florida, about an hour from beautiful beaches. Our two-story townhome has 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and approximately 1300 square feet. We live in a gated community with a community pool and playground located in an “A” rated school district. Our neighborhood is very diverse, with lots of families, and we have enjoyed watching our friends and neighbors raise their children here. Our dogs Libby and Lola (Jack Russell Terrier and Miniature Pinscher) love to take us for walks and explore the wooded conservation areas.
Our Family Traditions
We love our families and traditionally spend as much time with them as possible. Will's parents and sister live in the same town as us and we have game/movie night at least once a month. Greg's parents and brother live in Alabama, but we make several trips every year to see them and our niece spends two weeks every summer with her uncles in Florida. We alternate the holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas, spending one in Florida and the other in Alabama. When we spend family time in Alabama we look forward to helping Greg's mom in the kitchen where we bake cookies, cakes, pies and other southern traditional cooking. We try to frequently take family vacations as well; we have already cruised to Alaska and the Caribbean and visited Canada and the beautiful mountains of Gatlinburg, TN.
What Led Us To Adoption
Family is the most important thing to us, and we are very active in the lives of our niece, nephews, and the children of our closest friends. We have wanted to be dads for a very long time to share our love, integrity, knowledge and traditions with a new generation. We are at a point in our lives where we are emotionally, financially, and physically prepared to complete our family with unconditional love, as fathers. Will is a kid at heart, Greg is a nurturer, and together, these protectors can't wait to begin the adventure of "being great parents".
