Dear Expectant Mother,
With all of the amazing families for you to consider, we want to first and foremost thank you for taking the time to view our profile. This decision takes great courage and strength on your behalf. We hope our profile gives you a little comfort in knowing that, if we are chosen, your child will have an opportunity to experience an exciting life filled with love, adventure, compassion, imagination, and culture. We thank you in advance for considering giving us the gift of a lifetime and unlocking our next adventure in life with parenthood.
The journey to adoption is unique for every person and couple. We want to guarantee you that your child will be raised knowing how much of a hero you are. Your child will be surrounded by a huge, culturally diverse family as we currently have almost 20 nieces and nephews, two of which were also adopted.
Whatever decision you make, we hope you always remember that you have strength and courage that very few people possess. We cannot tell you how much just being considered to raise your child means, and we are forever grateful.
Our adventure began in 1999 when we met in high school show choir, and little did we know our lives would forever change when we started dating three years later. We got married on August 2, 2014, surrounded by a huge group of family and friends. Up until our adoption journey, our biggest adventure has been traveling the world to over 20 countries. We are both fortunate to work for amazing companies that allow us to work from home, giving us more flexibility to be able to spend time together and grow as a family. Chris works as an enterprise national account manager for a worldwide company, and Will is a corporate national recruiter for a leading appliance and repair company. We are excited to be able to continue our adventurous lifestyle and show a child the world.
We have a three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home in a family-friendly, newly developed community that backs up to a state park. We live within walking distance of some of the best schools in the area. We share our home with our three lovely fur children, Chloey, Daisy, and Bailey, who can’t wait to show their sibling their favorite hiding spots throughout the house. From hiking to kayaking and from outdoor concerts to food trucks galore, we cannot wait to show our child some of the reasons that made us want to start our family in this amazing city.
Our Extended Family
We are very fortunate to be surrounded by an amazingly supportive circle of family and friends. We both come from large, culturally diverse families and can guarantee your child a family that loves and welcomes everyone. Combined, we have nine brother and sisters , 20+ nieces and nephews, 30+ aunts and uncles, and too many cousins to count. We are also very lucky to have many friends who have become family, most whom we have known since high school. With so many people around, we can ensure your child will grow up surrounded by constant love and attention.
We cannot wait for your child to join in family traditions, from annual family vacations to holiday cookie baking, family BBQs, weekly hikes, Fourth of July fireworks, and Sunday breakfasts. With every memory created, we promise to give your child a life filled with family, love, culture, and adventure.
What Led Us To Adoption
We started talking about the idea of children on one of our first dates. We agreed that we both had goals and milestones that we wanted to achieve before expanding our family. Now that we have reached those goals and can provide our child the world, we are ready. Our decision to adopt was a very easy one. We both have siblings who have adopted their children. Also, one of our closest friends is a birthmother who found an incredible family for her child. The opportunity to show a child the world and see the joy in their eyes is a lifelong dream of ours.
