dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We want to start by expressing our deep respect and admiration for you. We understand that considering adoption is a decision made out of extreme love and care, and we are honored you might consider us as potential parents for your precious child. We cannot begin to imagine all the emotions you are experiencing, but please know we are committed to providing a home filled with love, support, and endless opportunities for your child to grow and thrive.

If chosen, we promise to raise your child in a safe, nurturing, and joyous environment. Your child will know their story, the love that led to this decision, and the incredible strength you showed. We are dedicated to creating a life where your child feels seen, loved, and valued every single day. Family, to us, means unconditional love, unwavering support, and the freedom to become who they are meant to be.

We look forward to building a meaningful connection with you, one rooted in trust, respect, and hopes for the future. We are thankful for your consideration and would be honored to be with you in this journey, no matter what you decide. Thank you for considering us, and we wish you happiness and hope in the days ahead.

Sincerely,
Aaron and Ben

About Us

Hello! We are Aaron, Ben, and Cashden, and we’re excited to grow our family of three through adoption. Fate randomly brought us together, and we have been building our lives for nearly 11 years. We were blessed to adopt our six-year-old son, Cashden, from the foster care system. Aaron works as a dedicated child welfare supervisor at the county level and is a licensed therapist, while Ben brings passion and energy to his role as a science teacher and a successful high school volleyball coach. We love spending time outdoors, whether it's camping, playing volleyball, or traveling. We've enjoyed family trips to San Diego, Tampa, and Chicago and are looking forward to heading somewhere warm—like Arizona—this winter. Cashden is very active, participating in karate, horseback riding, and soccer, which keeps us on our toes! We're deeply involved in his life, supporting him as he grows and as he looks forward to becoming a big brother.

Our Home & Neighborhood

Our home is in a peaceful spot in the Midwest, just five minutes away from our son’s school and nearby stores for all our needs. We love biking around the neighborhood, lounging by our pool on warm summer days, and taking our two furry companions for walks. We have a nine-year-old terrier mix named Nellie, and last December we welcomed a new yellow Lab puppy named Riley. Our pets are cherished members of the family, and most evenings you’ll find them cuddled up next to one of us.

Our Family & Friends

We have a wonderful, large extended family, as you can see from the photo of our son’s adoption! Aaron comes from a big family with four siblings and more than 50 relatives. We often gather with many of them for cookouts, pool parties, and card nights. Every summer, the whole extended family embarks on a big camping trip at a nearby campground.

Ben comes from a slightly smaller family (It was definitely an adjustment to the size and energy of Aaron’s family) with one older brother and one older sister. He has grown a fond closeness with his nieces and nephews as they were always like little siblings to him growing up. Ben's family treasures holidays and enjoys coming together to celebrate these special traditions. Even though Ben’s family lives around various areas of the state, family time never misses a beat and is filled with laughter, games, and reminiscing.

Our Adoption Story

We are excited to begin our second adoption journey! Our wonderful six-year-old son, Cashden, was adopted from the foster care system, and we’re now hoping to expand our family and give him the opportunity to become a big brother. He’s thrilled about the idea of having a sibling and can’t wait to share all he’s learned with them. We've been open about our adoption experience with others in our lives, and we're fortunate to have inspired some to consider adoption as a way to grow their own families as well.
