Dear Expectant Mother,

If we could sit across from you today, we’d want to start by saying thank you– for your strength, for your love, and for even considering us as a part of your baby’s story. We can’t begin to imagine all that you are carrying at this moment, but we admire your courage and want you to know how much respect and gratitude we feel toward you.

Adoption has always been part of our path to parenthood, and we’ve spent many years imagining what it would be like to share our lives with a child. As a same-sex couple, we know that the chance to grow our family comes through an act of extraordinary love and bravery, and we will never take that for granted.

We are fun-loving, adventurous, and family-centered. We love to travel, explore new foods, spend time with our families, and be outdoors with our two dogs, Arlo and Bullet. But the moments we look forward to most are the everyday ones – reading bedtime stories, cooking dinner together, holiday traditions, laughter that fills our home, and celebrating milestones both big and small. We promise to nurture your child’s unique story, to help them grow into whoever they are meant to be, and to surround them with unconditional love, joy, and opportunity.
