dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We can only imagine the emotions you’re feeling right now — the strength it takes, the love that guides you, and the courage to make choices that put your child’s future first. We want you to know how deeply we admire and respect you. This decision comes from a place of incredible love, and we honor the journey that brought you here.

If we’re lucky enough to be chosen, we promise your child will always know where they came from and the love that led them to us. They’ll grow up in a home filled with laughter, warmth, and connection — the kind of place where family movie nights turn into dance parties and big dreams are always encouraged. They’ll have a devoted big brother eager to share his world, and parents who will always show up for them with patience, guidance, and unconditional love. Our extended family and close friends are ready to surround them with joy, celebration, and belonging.

We wish you peace and strength as you make this important decision. If you choose us, it would be the greatest honor of our lives to provide your child with a safe, stable, and joy-filled life surrounded by love and support.

With love,
Jorge + Audrey + Matteo

Our Hobbies & Passions

We love spending time together doing things that bring us joy and keep us connected. Travel is one of our biggest passions—whether it’s a quick weekend trip, exploring new places, or a visit to Disney. We enjoy making memories together wherever we go.

At home, we like keeping active and involved. Jorge trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Audrey loves playing soccer and joining local community events. Photography is a big part of our lives too—it helps us capture the little everyday moments that mean the most. When we’re not out and about, we love cozy nights at home watching Disney movies, cooking together, and walking our dogs around the neighborhood.

Our days are full of laughter, teamwork, and small adventures. We love finding joy in simple things and spending time with the people and activities that make us feel connected and happy.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We live in a charming small town that often reminds us of something out of Gilmore Girls—full of character, close-knit connections, and neighbors who truly look out for one another. Diversity is one of the things we love most about our community, as it brings together people from many different backgrounds and traditions. Over the past year, our town has welcomed new supermarkets, stores, and restaurants, giving us more to explore while still holding onto its cozy, small-town charm. We love being part of a neighborhood where friends stop to chat on walks, children play together, and everyone feels like family. It’s the kind of place where we know our child will grow up feeling safe, supported, and surrounded by community.

Our Family & Friends

Family and friends are the heartbeat of our lives. Most of our extended family lives in Puerto Rico, and although miles separate us, the connection is strong—every visit, video call, or holiday is filled with music, food, laughter, and the kind of joy that makes distance disappear.

Here in Georgia, we are surrounded by friends and neighbors who truly feel like family. Audrey has had the same best friend since middle school—now Matteo’s godmother—who has walked through every season of life by her side. She also shares deep friendships with neighbors who gather for books, crafts, and everyday support. Jorge’s best friend since second grade remains like a brother, and together we both treasure lifelong friendships from work, college, and our community.

These people are more than friends; they are our village—the ones who celebrate our happiest moments, lift us during hard times, and help surround our child with love, laughter, and a strong sense of belonging.

Our Cultural Heritage

Our cultural heritage is something we hold close and love sharing with our children. From Puerto Rico, we treasure family celebrations filled with music, food, and laughter, and we especially enjoy keeping Three Kings Day alive each year.

Matteo was born in Ukraine, and we weave in stories, food, and traditions from his birth country so he always feels connected to his roots. We also embrace traditions from Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Korea, which enrich our family with even more diversity—whether it’s trying new foods, learning about holidays, or sharing stories and customs with friends.

Living in the U.S., we balance these influences with American traditions, from community holidays to everyday family moments. Blending all of these cultures together creates a home full of identity, curiosity, and pride, and we are excited to continue passing that richness of heritage and love to our children.
