Family Type: Heterosexual Couple
State we live in: Wisconsin

dear expectant mother

We are unbelievably grateful to be considered by you for this wonderful opportunity and cannot thank you enough for reviewing our profile and potentially choosing us for this huge and meaningful decision. It’s impossible for us to understand how difficult this is for you, but we want to express from the bottom of our hearts how important you are to us throughout this process. We are filled with gratitude and respect for you and give you so much credit for making a choice that cannot be easy.

We knew we wanted to be called “Mom” and “Dad” and have been trying to get there these past eight years. Family time, cooking together, doing crosswords, and playing outside with our dogs is what we enjoy most. We want so much to add a little one to the mix to really feel like our family is complete. We are lucky to be able to make our own schedules and are so excited to be able to become parents. We are blessed with grandparents, family, and friends who are waiting to help make sure this baby is loved endlessly.

None of this would be possible without you, and we will always be there for support and encouragement. A part of you will always be with us, if you choose us, and we will make sure our child never forgets who loved them enough to give them the best life possible. We hope to start this journey together and share in your strength as well as making sure this baby has every opportunity to live the best life possible! We appreciate you so much and hope we can begin this amazing journey together.

About Us

We had been mutual friends for a few years and got a chance to reconnect at a summer concert. We went out on a date the following weekend and have barely spent a day apart since! One of our biggest beliefs in our marriage and our life together is to remain best friends first and husband and wife second because a strong friendship has been a wonderful foundation for our marriage. Shortly after our wedding, we decided to take a leap of faith and became small business owners in a small town up north from where we used to live. Fast forward eight years later, and we now have three successful businesses and truly believe we love each other more now than ever!

Our Home & Pets

We have a beautiful ranch home in a small community, with an elementary school and park so close we can see them from our front porch! We can already picture taking the dogs to play Frisbee while our little one is having the time of their life at the park! We have two dogs, Scarlet and Ruby, and they love living in a neighborhood full of other dogs and kids! We have an indoor cat, Eleanor, who is the “neighborhood watch” from her perch in the window. The surrounding areas are full of hiking trails, lakes, and streams that make for some really fun and exciting adventures. We want nothing more than to take our child for nature hikes and will make sure they always have a safe place to play and learn about anything and everything.

Our Extended Family

Neither of us come from large families, but we have so many people in our lives who have gone from friends to people we just cannot live without! We are lucky to still have two surviving grandparents who live in Florida, and we have made it a tradition to visit them once a year. We love Disney World, so that is always something we have been excited to share with our child; we hope they can experience the most magical time of their life! We are blessed to live by beautiful lakes, and twice a year we spend a week at the cabin with some of our friends who already have children.

We are both extremely thankful that all of our parents are alive, well, and patiently waiting for a grandchild to spoil rotten! Amanda’s younger sister passed away a few years ago, but we will always make sure her memory lives on within us and any child we have; she was so special, and we know she’s looking down on us and our family. Jeremy’s sister is married and blessed us with three amazing nephews who are honestly so excited to add a cousin to the mix! Jeremy’s brother and his wife are free-spirited travel bugs with a zest for life that is unmatched.

What Led Us To Adoption

When we got married, we knew having kids was on the very top of our list. However, sometimes life has other plans, and we just haven’t been able to accomplish this naturally. We always have known that when the Universe was ready for it to be our time, we would be blessed with the opportunity to have the family we have always wanted. Adoption has helped both sides of our family grow and given us firsthand experience to see that love really is just love, no matter how you create it.
