dear expectant mother

We cannot fully imagine how difficult it must be for you to consider adoption for your baby. We are sure this is not something you had in your life’s plan, but we are grateful you are considering us to love your baby as our own.

With us, your baby will have the support of two loving parents and a kind big brother. We can offer many opportunities for growth and discovery that will help your baby thrive. Many of our friends are from other countries and cultures, and this has given us a broader view of the world and helped us see things from different perspectives. Our friendships and travel experiences enrich our lives and will for your baby too.

We both grew up in households with financial struggles. Our parents sacrificed much so we could have better opportunities. We want your child to have the same opportunities and will work hard to help your child fulfill his or her dreams and full potential. We will always strive to be good parents and role models to your child. We will teach your child right from wrong in keeping with the Golden Rule, which honors respect and love above all else. Should you choose us, your baby will grow into a confident and thoughtful adult with the love, support, and structure we will offer as a family. And your child will be told, “I love you,” every single day.

With us, your baby will have the support of two loving parents and a kind big brother. We can offer many opportunities for growth and discovery that will help your baby thrive.

About Us

We are a devoted couple who have been together for 27 years and happily married for 24 years. We were married for seven years before we had our son, Gabriel, in 2005, so we have a very strong foundation as a couple. Amy spent many years working toward her career as a critical care doctor and works nights, while David works in sales with a few days of west coast travel every few months. We love to laugh and tease each other but also lean on each other in tough times, as best friends do. We spend most of our days off with Gabriel and our three dogs, either at home or traveling for fun. Being parents has been the most important and most rewarding thing in our lives and we are looking forward to parenting again.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is a comfortable two-story, five-bedroom house on a quiet street. It has a fenced yard where we play with plenty of room for our dogs. We have a sunny deck where we like to spend time together, whether eating dinner or just enjoying the beautiful weather. We are an active family and will have fun traveling, biking, hiking, and skiing with your child. The park near our house has a great play structure and walking path. Gabriel can teach his sibling how to play board games and ride a bike. We love to hang out on the couch together watching movies and playing with our three dogs. David is handy and enjoys teaching his building and fixing skills. Amy spends hours cooking every week and will teach your child how to cook. Your child will learn a lot in our loving home.

Our Extended Family

Amy’s parents live in Arizona, and we see them about twice a year. David’s parents live about three hours away, so we see them more often. David is the youngest of four children, and we see his siblings mostly on holidays. Amy has an older brother who is married with five grown daughters who also live several hours away. Gabriel’s cousins are all much older than he is, but he enjoys being with them when he can. We find it hard to get together with our extended family with everybody’s busy schedules, so we spend a lot of time with close friends in our area who are like extended family to us. We occasionally take our parents on vacation with us, which always provides special memories.

We have shared our adoption hopes with our parents, and they are all excited and supportive of our journey to grow our family. They can't wait for another grandchild to love. They are following us on our journey and are as hopeful as we are to be blessed with a child to love and raise.

What Led Us To Adoption

We struggled for many years to expand our family, without success. This ultimately led us to adoption, which offers us the chance to experience more love and the joy of watching a child grow up, as we have while raising our son, Gabriel. We are excited to grow our family and be on this path once again. Should you choose us, we will love your child with all our hearts, every second of every day. We would feel blessed to offer another child what our family has in abundance: love, support, safety, security, and opportunities for education, travel, and fun.
