dear expectant mother

Thank you for loving your little one so much that you are willing to consider the selfless act of adoption for them. I am not going to pretend to understand the complexities of what you are feeling and experiencing, but I do want you to know your baby will be loved beyond all measure if you choose me. Your baby will be given every opportunity to thrive.

Thank you for providing for your baby in such a unique and beautiful way. Know that it is you and your brave decisions that will create the foundation for any success that comes your baby’s way. Please know I will always value you, respect you, and honor you, both during this adoption experience and beyond. You are incredibly strong and wise, and my hope is that I can help bring out those same great qualities in your baby.

Thank you for considering me for this amazing gift and opportunity. I have prayed and longed for a chance to become a mom for many years now and am thrilled that dream could be fulfilled. I am eager to provide a life full of love, hope, laughter, and adventure for your little one.

With love,
Andi

About Me

Optimistic, caring, and bubbly—this is what I often hear when family and friends try to describe me. I have a unique talent for finding the silver lining on just about any cloud and believe life is meant to be lived to the fullest. I am always seeking out my next adventure, big or small! My faith is very important to me and guides all areas of my life. I am incredibly blessed to have a career I love working as a nurse and educator at a birth center. I love coming alongside people and empowering them in whatever they are facing in their journey. When I’m not at work, you can usually find me hanging out with my family or out exploring my cute beach town’s farmers market, coffee shops, or hiking trails. That or maybe a Netflix binge or reality show while group texting my friends. It’s all about balance, right?

My Home & Pets

I absolutely love my city in Michigan. There’s enough going on that I’m never bored. We have great festivals, markets, places to eat, and the beach along Lake Michigan. However, it’s not so big where it can feel super busy; I feel like it’s the perfect little mix of calming and energizing. I live in a house in a quiet, safe neighborhood with lots of tree-lined trails to walk, parks to play in, and great schools close by! My two little dogs, Chaco and Toby, love to look out our big front window and watch all the walkers, strollers, other dogs, and, of course, delivery trucks go by. They make sure to alert me whenever the mail delivery happens!

My Extended Family

My sister and I were raised by a single mother after my dad passed away when we were three and one. Because of that life event, my mom’s family is extremely close. That’s why I feel that even though I will be a single parent, your baby and I will thrive. Those closest to me have supported a single mom before and are so excited to do it again. They are a wonderful bunch, and we always have so much fun together. We spend our summers hanging out in our grandparents’ pool listening to oldies music and winters gorging on Hungarian Christmas cookies.

Additionally, I have a great friends circle filled with little ones for your baby to play with. For many years, I have been the auntie to all of these kids and fully anticipate my friends being the best bonus aunts and uncles around.

My coworkers are another family of mine. I work with some of the strongest women you will ever meet. They know my heart and are so eager to support me on this adoption journey. And because of what I do, I am literally surrounded by the best resources for raising a new baby!

What Led Me To Adoption

I have always known I would be a mother, and even in times when I’ve questioned that idea, I have always been drawn back to it and am confident I am called to be someone’s mom. Even at a young age, I realized this could be possible in many different ways. I found out in my early twenties that it would be next to impossible for me to become pregnant without some significant medical help. After hearing this news, the idea of adoption became more of a real possibility, and I was so excited about it! I believe adoption is a beautiful way for people who otherwise wouldn’t know each other to come together with the common goal of creating a positive future for a child. What an incredible opportunity.
