About Us

Hi we are Matt and Andrew, a loving couple living out in Texas, who met in 2012 and officially tied the knot in 2016. For work, Andrew works in real estate while Matt is a first responder. We are so lucky that our careers afford us flexible schedules that allow us extra family time quite often. We enjoy spending our free time doing home improvement projects, playing games, and spending quality time with our son. Matt is a skilled DIY enthusiast, while Andrew loves to unwind by playing games. We both value family and make an effort to visit with extended family as often as possible. Together, we are excited to grow our family through adoption and provide a loving, stable, and supportive home for our children.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is nestled in a cozy Texas suburb that has shown us time and time again the strength of its tight-knit community. We cherish family time and often visit the zoo, aquarium, and local parks to create lasting memories. Each year, we have made it a tradition to travel and see the enchanting holiday lights and attractions that light up the season. Additionally, we relish spending time with family during special occasions such as birthdays and holidays, and we love soaking up the sun and playing in the water at the beach or pool.

Thankfully, Andrew's family is nearby, providing us with a great support system. Our furry family members include two dogs, Belle and Zak, who have grown to love Aidan as much as he adores giving them endless cuddles and attention.

Our Extended Family

Both of us come from relatively large families, and we value the importance of family time and togetherness. Andrew's family is particularly activity-oriented, and we delight in the joyous celebrations of holidays, birthdays, and special occasions where games are played, and the children grow and play together. Andrew has one sister who is married with three children, and his mom, dad, stepmom, aunt's family, and grandparents all live within an hour's drive. Aidan is blessed to have numerous cousins who live close by, two of whom are near his age, and it's a pleasure to watch them play together.

Matt's family primarily resides in Florida, which makes it more difficult for regular visits. However, we make it a priority to stay connected with video calls and plan vacations to ensure we can all be together. Matt has one brother who is married with three children and one sister. Matt's parents are retired and can travel to see Aidan, which is always a special treat for everyone. We are grateful to be surrounded by family and excited to continue traditions, gatherings, and to watch Aidan grow and learn with his cousins.

Our Adoption Story

In 2020, after approximately 1.5 years, we received a life-changing call while Matt was at work. Without hesitation, we headed to Oklahoma to meet our son, Aidan. Our dream had become a reality, and the moment we met him, we knew we were meant to be his parents. It has been an incredible journey since then, and our love for him has only grown with each passing day.

As we grow, we are eager to expand our family and provide another child with a loving home. Aidan's love for children is contagious, and it fills us with joy to see him interact so kindly with others. We are excited to share our love and create new memories with another precious boy or girl who we know will become an important part of our lives.
