dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for taking time to learn about us and read our story. We’re Cassie and Ashley, and we’ve been together for sixteen wonderful years. Our journey to parenthood has been a long one, almost seven years. It’s been filled with hope, patience, and excitement. We can only imagine how difficult and emotional this decision must be for you, and we want you to know that we admire your strength and courage.

Our lives are filled with laughter, adventure, and a strong circle of family and friends. Family means everything to us. Over the years, our circle of relatives and friends has truly become our chosen family, a group who supports, encourages, and celebrates one another through every season. We’re so thankful to be surrounded by such a large, loving network of relatives and friends who can’t wait to welcome a child into our lives. We value unconditional love, encouragement, and creating a safe space where a child always feels supported and celebrated for who they are.

If you choose us, we promise your child will always know their story began with your incredible love and selflessness. Thank you for considering us and for the love you’re showing your baby through this decision.

Our Lifestyle

Our lifestyle is very active and full of adventures! When we are not working, we are busy filling our days with activities with our family and friends. From gathering for football games, hosting game nights, or enjoying an evening in the backyard grilling, our home is often a gathering place full of love, laughter, and memories. We also love exploring the outdoors! We have been on many trips throughout the State and Country creating lasting memories with each other. A lot of our trips involve camping in our travel trailer and making memories with our fur babies.

We center ourselves around our family, friends and community. Giving back is an important part of who we are. Through Ashley’s work in education, Cassie’s work through community outreach, and volunteering together, we make sure to give back to our community. One of our favorite events that we participate in is called the Dragon Boat Races, an annual fundraiser that raises funds for a local non-profit agency.

We look forward to sharing these adventures, memories, and love with our future child.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We live in a suburban three bedroom house located in a country club. The layout of our house consists of a large living space, a formal dining room, a large kitchen with an eat-in dining room, and a backyard with a screened-in patio. The layout of our house is perfect for hosting all of our holiday events for our family and friends. Our city is small, but offers many benefits such as walkability, recreational opportunities, beautiful parks with walking trails and play areas, and excellent schools!

We have two sweet and snuggly doggies, Lady and Oakley, who are very loving. They love treats, playing with their toys, and taking naps

Our Family & Friends

We are fortunate to have a loving, and supportive community that will play a big role in our child’s life. Ashley’s parents and siblings are a huge part of our lives, and we gather frequently for dinners and events that are filled with laughter and connection. Cassie’s mom hosts weekly dinners, giving us a consistent, warm family rhythm. While Cassie’s brothers live in California, we stay close through FaceTime, enjoying regular conversations and catching up with our nieces and nephews. We also have a wonderful network of aunts, uncles, and cousins with whom we create memories while traveling and bonding as a family. Our nieces and nephews are frequent visitors, and friends’ children are also a big part of our everyday life.

Our extended family includes a large network of friends who feel like family. Our home often hosts game nights, dinner parties, and fun gatherings with our extended family.

We look forward to raising a child in our home filled with hugs, laughter, and the love of a big, caring community. We can’t wait to share life’s joys, adventures, and everyday moments with a child who will be cherished by our family and friends alike.

Our Cultural Heritage

Our cultural heritage stems from not only our past experiences, but new experiences that we make for ourselves. We love embracing and learning from other cultures and embedding them into our family traditions. Ashley loves to bring those traditions to life in the kitchen, from baking international Christmas cookies, to preparing Irish dishes on Saint Patrick’s Day, while Cassie has become the official taste tester of these dishes. Trying new foods, understanding the cultural celebrations, and decorating our house has become a fun way for us to celebrate diversity and connect with others.

Mother’s Day brunch, Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas, or Dia De Los Muertos, we love to fill our home with laughter and joy as we share these memories with those we love.
