dear expectant mother

Dear mother,

The decision you are considering—to give the gift of love and hope to a family—is one of the most selfless and compassionate choices you can make. We admire your strength and courage, and we cannot begin to imagine what you are feeling right now. We are so thankful for you and grateful to be considered as parents to your baby. The love you have for your child, shown in your desire to provide the best possible future, is truly admirable. We can’t wait to love, cherish, protect, and provide for a child. We believe children are among life’s greatest blessings, and your decision to give us the opportunity to love your child unconditionally is a gift beyond words.

We met later in life, and while we each have children separately, we are unable to have a child together—and that has been our dream. The love we share is something we long to give to a baby of our own. We know your decision is both powerful and difficult, and we promise to honor it by creating the best life possible for your baby. We look forward to walking beside you on this journey and supporting you in whatever you need.

Our Lifestyle

Our lifestyle revolves around our home on the farm and time with our family. I am a registered nurse who works only as needed, which allows me to spend most of my time at home caring for our family. My husband owns a mobile auto repair business and can set his own schedule. I often ride along on his jobs, and we enjoy the flexibility this gives us to care for our kids and animals.

Weekends are often spent cooking for the week, trying new skills like candle making, knitting, and refinishing furniture, traveling to concerts, or spending time with family. We love gathering with close friends for dinners, bonfires, and family-friendly outings to the zoo, science center, museums, and sports events.

I volunteer as a coach, helping my athletes grow into responsible, happy adults. Seth loves music and often creates songs with his younger brothers, as well as promoting music through his podcasts and social media. Our days are full of creativity, connection, and the simple joys of home and family life.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We live on an 11-acre mini farm surrounded by woods and farmer’s fields. We run a small roadside stand selling fresh eggs and produce. Our rural area’s closest town is a small but close-knit farming community.

Our 4-bedroom, 2-bath ranch home has enough space for everyone to have their own room. The property includes a creek, hiking trails through the woods, rabbits in the barn, and 50 laying hens—providing fresh meals every day.

A tiny home in the back is where Seth’s two younger brothers, who have disabilities, live independently. Our property truly feels like a little slice of heaven, and we love ending our days watching the sun rise and set over the barn, surrounded by the peace and beauty of nature.

Our Family & Friends

We are blessed with a large support system who will immediately love your child. Ashley is very close with her parents, Stephanie and Randy, as well as her younger brother, Jake. She was widowed previously and has two children from that marriage—Jaycie, who is in college studying to be a pilot, and Jaston, who is finishing high school.

Seth is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, and while his younger brothers, AJ and Collin, live in Ohio, he has built a large chosen family of loyal, lifelong friends. His best friends are more like family, and we often travel together to the zoo, waterparks, and campgrounds for fun family outings. We also love hosting friends on our farm for cookouts, bonfires, and game nights.

Seth has a two-year-old son from a previous relationship, named Grayson, who can’t wait to be a big brother—he regularly asks when a baby will come home.

We are so thankful for our village of people who make life richer, warmer, and full of joy.

What We Love About Each Other

Seth is a hardworking protector and provider whose smile lights up every room. I call him “human medicine” because it’s impossible not to laugh when he’s around. What made me fall in love was watching him with his 2-year-old son and his special needs brothers. He is a gentle, patient, and devoted father whose strength, ambition, and loyalty amaze me every day.

Ashley has a heart the size of Texas and coaches youth wrestling, where her wrestlers adore her. She is patient, kind, open, and honest. Earning her doctorate in nursing is a testament to her determination and work ethic. She supports our family wholeheartedly, always putting us first, and I love her for being such a strong, loving, and caring woman.
