Ashton & Jordan

Family Type: Heterosexual Couple
State We live in: Ohio

dear expectant mother

We are so grateful you are taking the time to look at our profile and consider us in this process. We could not imagine the kind of strength and selflessness you have in making the decision to choose adoption. We admire you for your courage. We can’t even begin to understand everything you are feeling, and we want you to know you will always be painted in an adoring and respected manner with your child. We encourage open discussion, and you will always be loved by your child and respected by us.

Should you choose us, your baby will be surrounded by love and support. They will be raised with many experiences and opportunities to enjoy life to the fullest. We believe fun and engaging experiences teach the best lessons when growing up, and we have worked hard to prepare a safe and explorative life for an infant and child. We look forward to taking them to the park, enjoying their games if they join a sport, and watching them grow into the person they will become. They will always be surrounded by support, love, and caring by us, friends, and family.

We wish you the best in making this decision and hope you find peace with whatever you choose. We would be honored and forever grateful should you choose us for your baby.

About Us

Hello! We want to say thank you for looking at our profile; we are grateful you are here. We met in 2017, and our first date included dinner, Fun ‘N’ Stuff, and a game of chess. We have continued playing chess our entire relationship and incorporated it into our wedding. We have many more hobbies, such as traditional German dancing; if you want to see some of the dances, here is a link to the Facebook page: www.facebook.com/stvbavaria/ We also go hiking and skating, love being around friends and family, and try to live life exploring new things. One of our favorite activities is walking in the park close to home. We both have jobs we enjoy. Ashton works as an American Sign Language interpreter, and Jordan works in wildlife control.

Our Home & Neighborhood

Our home has an upstairs, a main floor, and a basement. Our backyard is spacious, with a peach tree and sweet peas plants. We recently added a fire pit and are working to make it a fun, inviting place where we have summer get-togethers. We live in Ohio, across the street from a park with a few playgrounds, public swimming, putt-putt, and much more! The park is the place to be for all activities. We like to go there for walks, ice cream, and playing tennis.

We have a cat named Fluffy; she is 23 years old and very friendly. She is patient with kids and has been socialized around people. We joke with all our friends that Fluffy’s best friend is whoever is petting her.

Our Family & Friends

We have many traditions with our family, such as Christmas Eve at Ashton’s parents’ home with cousins, aunts, and her grandfather, who recently turned 100 years old. Her brother’s family, with his two kids, always brings a wacky game that everyone plays. This past year, teams of two people had to work together to put marshmallows in a bowl while wearing plastic cups on our hands. It always turns to more fun when someone tries to work around the rules.

With Jordan’s family, every Christmas we meet at his grandmother’s house and visit with his grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and immediate family. We sing Christmas carols in German and English then sit down together and eat dinner. Jordan’s grandparents came from Germany, and his family speaks fluent German.

What Led Us To Adoption

We both knew from a young age that when we started a family, we wanted to adopt our children. We had the adoption conversation on our first date, and it was one of the reasons we continued to go on dates before we fell in love. Our family has been lucky to meet others who have been adopted and hear their stories and know their families. We hope to have these relationships in the future for our child to have someone to talk to about their similar experiences.
