dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We know the choice to consider adoption comes from a place of deep love, strength, and courage. While we can't fully understand what you're going through, we hold your decision with the utmost respect and compassion. It would be the greatest honor to raise your child in a home filled with love, safety, and acceptance. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for considering us.

We have always dreamed of becoming parents, and if chosen, your child will grow up surrounded by warmth, encouragement, and joy. Our home is a place where laughter is constant, with plenty of dad jokes, dogs are always ready for a walk or cuddle, and love is the foundation of everything we do. We believe in nurturing confidence, kindness, and empathy, and in helping a child grow into exactly who they're meant to be.

We're grateful to be supported by a close-knit circle of family and friends who are eager to help us raise a child. Together, we'll share in traditions, vacations, bedtime stories, and new adventures, while always honoring the love that brought us together. Your child will always know the strength and love that began their story—with you.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Ben & Brian

Our Love Story

Our love story is one of fate. We first met in college and dated briefly before life took us in different directions. Eleven years later, we reconnected by chance on Facebook—only to discover we were living in the same apartment complex. From dog walks to poolside chats, our bond grew naturally, and it quickly became clear that we had found something special.

In fact, we were so in sync that we unknowingly proposed to each other at the exact same moment—no planning, just love. We married in a lakeside ceremony surrounded by our closest friends and family, and since then, our relationship has only deepened. We've built a life full of laughter, love, and shared dreams, and now we're ready to begin the next chapter: becoming parents through adoption.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We live in a warm, family-friendly neighborhood where kids ride bikes on the sidewalks, neighbors chat from their porches, and walking trails wind through tree-lined streets. Halloween is a big tradition here, with festive decorations and laughter filling the air. Our home is cozy and welcoming, with a nursery and playroom already set aside, waiting to be filled with joy. We share our space with two gentle, playful dogs who love cuddles and company. Nearby, we enjoy a mix of local shops, restaurants, a beautiful lake for boating, and a state park perfect for hiking. There's even a great recreation center with a big pool for sunny afternoons. It's a lively, loving environment, and we'd be honored to raise a child here.

Our Family & Friends

Family is the center of our lives, and we're incredibly grateful for the strong, loving support system that surrounds us. Our parents, siblings, and close-knit circle of friends are all thrilled for us to become parents and are ready to welcome a child with open arms. From Ben's brother in the Air Force to Brian's brother in IT, a nurse sister-in-law, and parents eager to shower another grandchild with love, we are surrounded by people who are excited to be part of this journey. Holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas are especially meaningful, filled with home-cooked meals, laughter, and time spent together. These traditions are the heartbeat of our family, and we look forward to sharing them with a child. Beyond our relatives, we have lifelong friends from all walks of life—teachers, nurses, and even a wildlife guide—who are more like family and are part of our everyday lives. It truly takes a village, and ours is full of warmth, love, and support, ready to embrace a child with joy.

Our Favorite Adventures

One of our most meaningful trips was a journey to Scotland with Brian's parents. We visited extended family in Edinburgh and explored Aberdeen, where Brian's grandmother was born. Walking the same streets she once did made the experience incredibly special. From touring ancient castles to seeing Highland cows and the famous "Harry Potter" bridge, the trip was full of adventure and connection. It reminded us how much we value family, history, and exploring new places together—memories we look forward to creating with a child someday.
