dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

To be in a place of such selflessness is to be respected and commended. Your decision to give your baby life even with different parents is such a loving, beautiful thing. We will never be able to truly understand how hard this must be, but knowing that we are here for you and your baby, we hope will give you as much comfort as possible through this emotional journey. They say it takes a village to raise a child. In our case and many others like us, it takes a village to create a family. We cannot create our own child, but we do want a family. So we need help. We all need help in some way or another at some point in our lives, and through this experience, we are thankful to be able to help a mother who can also help us.

We look forward to getting to know you and sharing more about us with you. We understand this experience will be different for everyone, and you have to live it as you go. There are a lot of unknowns, but we are ready to ride that ride with you with love, support, grace, gentleness, kindness, and understanding. We pray for you and all the expectant mothers that the right people will come along your path and create special bonds that will allow comfort and peace in the months to come. We would be honored to meet you!

There are a lot of unknowns, but we are ready to ride that ride with you with love, support, grace, gentleness, kindness, and understanding.

About Us

We were both born and raised in South Carolina with strong roots and a large, supportive family. We are loving people. We love our friends and the people we work with, and we love our families. We have always dreamed of finding the right partner to share our love and grow a family with so we could become loving parents. We are both hard-working business owners who are now comfortable in our lives and our schedules to start our family. We work in the hair care industry, e-commerce, and real estate, and we love what we do. Our blend of skills and personality makes us an amazing team. After seventeen years of being friends, we have now been together for almost three years and just recently got married.

Our Home & Pets

We live in South Carolina on a thirty-acre horse farm along with five rescue dogs that Dustin brought home from the county shelter where he worked for many years and a precious little poodle Bo has had by his side for ten years. We are thirty minutes from a large city and thirty minutes from our second home on a beautiful lake. All of our animals, except the tiny poodle, live in the climate-controlled carriage house across the yard. We have a long driveway perfect for learning to ride a bike, ponies in the pasture, and trails through the woods. Our four-bedroom house has plenty of space to run and play. Inside our home, you will see beautiful paintings, statues, and chandeliers. We are both artistic and love interior design.

Our Extended Family

Dustin's parents married with the intent of having children. They wanted a large family and had four children very quickly. We now have seven nieces and nephews between his siblings. Except for the oldest brother, who is currently in the military, they all live in the same town and get to see each other often.

Bo’s family is also in town, but Bo is an only child. He grew up living his best life with his parents. He went everywhere with them. They loved to take vacations and go on cruises. His parents were business owners and modeled a lot of who he is today. Bo’s parents have sadly passed away, but he has aunts and cousins whom he is very close with. We both come from very supportive families.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always wanted to have children together. A year ago we made an appointment with a fertility clinic. We had always thought we wanted to have a child with our own DNA. We didn't care which one of us fertilized the egg, but we planned to have a second child with the other's DNA. The more questions we had to answer about the choices of creating a child through surrogacy, along with the expenses that come with the process, it felt less and less like the right path for us. It didn't take long for us to remember we are both pro-life Christians, and we had found ourselves actually in the equation of supporting adoption. We couldn't be more at peace about what the future may hold.
