dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,
First and foremost, we want to thank you. Though we have never met, we deeply admire your strength, courage, and love. We can only imagine the emotions you are feeling as you navigate this path, and we want you to know that you are not alone. No matter where this journey takes you, please know that you are seen, valued, and making a decision rooted in love.
Becoming parents has been our dream since the day we said "I do." While we may have built a bit of a zoo along the way, the thought of welcoming a child into our home fills us with hope—hope for a future where we can share the love, laughter, and life we've built together.

We know this is not an easy decision, and we respect whatever choice you make. If our paths are meant to cross, we would be honored to walk this journey with you.

With love and gratitude,
Brea & Cameron

About Us

Hi! We’re Brea and Cameron.

Life outdoors is a big part of who we are. We both work full-time while managing a hobby farm, embracing the homesteader lifestyle. Caring for our animals is a passion, and we love riding horses, quads, and motorcycles. Brea manages a market garden and runs the business side of the farm, while Cameron enjoys fishing—though Brea insists she out-fishes him!

Travel is another big part of our lives, especially for our anniversary, when we seek out new places to explore together. Weekends are dedicated to friends and family, making the most of our time with those we don’t see during the workweek. With our full schedules, we prioritize connection, knowing that life—especially with a farm full of animals—can sometimes be unpredictable.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We have a full house—Brea can’t say no to anything with paws! Our home is filled with animals, including 4 dogs, 5 cats, 8 horses, 5 goats, and 50 chickens.

Since Covid, we’ve lived with Brea’s mom and brother in a large dome house in the country, where we keep our gardens, chickens, and goats. Our second property, once owned by Brea’s grandparents, is now managed by her family. It’s where we care for our horses and maintain the home they once lived in. Both properties are surrounded by open land and continue to grow and develop each year, giving us even more space to build the life we love.

Our Family & Friends

Brea’s family is large and spread out, but locally, her mom and brother are her closest relatives, along with her grandparents before they passed. While growing up in the area, she formed deep connections with many people who helped shape her into who she is today—people she now considers family. She also has extended relatives she used to visit during school breaks for summer adventures.

Cameron’s mom and both sets of grandparents live nearby, and weekend dinners are a regular tradition. When the holidays come around, we take on what we call the Holiday Gauntlet, making sure to spend time with every part of the family. His father, stepmom, and their family live in Montana, and we usually visit them at Christmas.

What Led Us To Adoption

We’ve been together since 2009, always dreaming of a big family. Infertility has made our journey different than we imagined, so instead, we’ve filled our lives with animals—our own Cheaper by the Dozen!

Now that we’ve moved beyond the Covid era, we’re focused on growing our business and looking ahead instead of dwelling on years of fertility treatments. Our biggest fear is looking back with regrets about chances we didn’t take.

Parenthood has always been our calling, no matter the path. Adoption is important to us because we believe every child deserves a loving home, a place to belong, and the freedom to grow into the best version of themselves.
