Your little boy or girl will be loved with all our hearts. We will ensure through our roles as parents to instill this love so they always understand our love is true.
We, along with our supportive family and friends, will instill in your child the strong morals and values we have developed through our family’s generations. We will also provide your child with many wonderful experiences and opportunities that will take them far in life.
We promise your little boy or girl will be nurtured, cared for, cherished, and supported in all aspects of life. We cannot thank you enough for reviewing our profile and considering us to love and care for the beautiful child you are carrying.
Michael grew up in a small town in southeast Nebraska before moving to Lincoln to finish his Bachelor’s degree and start graduate school. He works as a Workplace Consultant for a company in Omaha. He is responsible for conducting structured interviews for clients and making recommendations on hiring candidates. He also provides Strengths coaching to individuals based on their talents. He enjoys the flexibility to work from home and create his own schedule. Brian is originally from Wisconsin and moved to Lincoln to pursue graduate school and start his career in education. He currently works for a large university as the Regional Dean and supervises the academic sector for instructional services.
Together we enjoy traveling, gardening, cooking, watching movies, going to concerts, house projects, and spending quality time with our family and friends.
We live in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood filled with wonderful, friendly neighbors. Our home has six bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a large backyard. It is located just a short walk away from great parks, schools, restaurants, and family-friendly stores.
We enjoy spending time in the yard with our three miniature dachshunds, Leo, Lily, and Louie. Lily is a one-year-old short-haired dachshund who loves to give kisses and play with other dogs and children. Leo is a five-year-old long-haired dachshund who is very calm and loves to be everybody’s friend. Louie, our ten-month-old short-haired dachshund, is an energetic little guy who loves to play with Lily and kids.
Our Family Traditions
Family is an important part of our lives. We try to spend as much time as possible with both sides of our family. Michael’s family lives within thirty minutes of where we live. We see his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins a few times a month to have dinner, spend holidays, and attend family events together. Brian’s family lives primarily in Wisconsin, so we travel there at least six times a year to see his parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We attend family birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations together. We both have strong connections and relationships with our families.
We both have many similar traditions in our families that have continued. One tradition we have is spending a day baking cookies with each of our families before the holidays. We have each had the tradition of taking a yearly trip with our families. We also enjoy going to county and state fairs and local festivals. We look forward to continuing these traditions together as we start our family.
What Led Us To Adoption
Early in our relationship, we had many talks about children and how much we both wanted to be fathers. We have had many discussions about what the best option for us would be to grow our family and we decided adoption is the best route for us to take. The desire to be a family has grown stronger throughout our relationship, and we have both agreed adoption is what we want to do to achieve these dreams. We would be grateful beyond words to have the opportunity to give your child a wonderful life filled with love.
