dear expectant mother

We want to thank you for considering adoption and considering us! We recognize that you are facing an extremely difficult decision. We fully recognize it is your love for your baby that may allow us to realize our dream of having a family. It has been a difficult 3 ½ years of infertility for us, and your selflessness gives us hope. We are excited, hopeful, nervous, and anxious about the possibility of finally having a child. This is only a possibility because of you.

We cannot promise to be perfect parents, but we do promise to raise your baby with love, compassion, and the childhood experiences we cherished. We grew up playing outside: swimming, boating, building forts, and playing sports. For us, living in the country, where we can plant gardens and run around barefoot, is the best way to grow up. Your baby would be cherished by us as well as our families. We vow to keep your baby’s best interest in mind always and nurture them into the best version of who they are and who they want to be.

We can’t wait for the days when we spend evenings grilling and swimming or taking a road trip to a new national park as a family. Once again, we thank you for taking this brave journey and for considering us. We wish you the best of luck making your decision and want you to remember that you are a blessing to whomever you choose.

About Us

We are a goofy, fun-loving couple who loves to go on adventures. We met during college, where we had the same friends but didn’t cross paths until our fifth year. It turned out that we grew up only a couple miles from each other. After college, we moved to Utah for a couple years, where we spent all of our free time in the mountains. Tony sells insurance and is business partners with Brittany’s dad. Brittany is a high school physical education teacher. We are very active and love being outdoors. In the summer, you will find us golfing, hiking, or swimming. In the winter, we love to ski and snowboard. We both grew up as athletes and played high school and college sports. Additionally, we love to travel. We have a dream to experience all the U.S. national parks together. So far we have checked off 15 of 63.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We live in the beautiful Wisconsin countryside. We have ten acres of land that includes wooded trails and an inground pool. We have the choice between two school districts and will get to choose between a small-town school and a big school with endless opportunities when the time comes. Our property backs up to state land that is full of hiking and snowshoeing trails as well as being surrounded by lakes. We are also only thirty minutes from a small city and an hour from two major cities. We share our home with our cat, Bruce, and our dog, Remy. Bruce is ten, and Remy is a six-year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix.

Our Family & Friends

Brittany comes from an average-sized immediate family but a large extended family. She is the middle child of three with an older brother and younger sister. She is very close to her family, and we see them often. We are both very close to Brittany’s younger sister and see her one weekend a month as well as talk to her daily. Family traditions are a favorite with Brittany’s family. We go on an annual family camping trip every year as well as celebrate every holiday together. Every year we start a 1000-piece puzzle on Christmas and work on it as a family, trying to finish by New Year’s. Brittany’s extended family is large, with her mom being the youngest of 16 kids.

Tony is the oldest of three boys. We see Tony’s dad fairly often and love spending time with him at his house up north as well as at Tony’s grandma’s, which is in the northwoods of Wisconsin, where she has hundreds of acres and a portion of a private lake. Sadly, we lost Tony’s mom to breast cancer in 2021. We like to go golfing with Tony’s youngest brother and spend holidays with Tony’s dad and brothers.

What Led Us To Adoption

We decided in 2021 that we were ready to start having kids. After two years of trying and no success, we decided to seek medical advice. This began an approximately six-month period of testing and attempts. We never got answers as to why we were unsuccessful, but the lack of success was emotionally taxing for both of us. All of our friends began having babies, and it became painful every time we looked on social media and saw another person we knew posting a baby announcement. Now, 3 ½ years after we originally started trying for a family, we know we are beyond ready to have a family of our own and decided to steer our journey toward adoption.
