Caleb & Justin

Family Type: Gay Couple
State We live in: Colorado

dear expectant mother

We have dreamed of you and this precious child you carry. We do not know your name or your face, but we know one day the universe will connect us. We cannot begin to understand your emotions as you make this very personal decision. What we can say is that your unborn child is our beacon of dreams and hope for our future, someone we would cherish and raise with joy and enduring love.

Our background and families informed who we are as individuals. Caleb was raised in a solid, stable, two-parent home. His childhood gave him his unquestionable confidence and identity. Justin was raised by a young, single, and determined mom. Seeing her struggle as a solo parent created a desire and determination to build the traditional family he did not have.

We have been blessed with rewarding careers, a loving and welcoming home, and a beautiful son. We desire to enhance our lives even more by sharing this wonderful journey and adventure with your child! We will welcome and embrace them as our own flesh and blood. Our promise to you is this: They will be safe, happy, and healthy. They will know laughter, joy, and adventure. They will be educated, supported, and surrounded by encouragement and optimism. They will find their unique talents and individualism and an independent voice to become who they are destined to be in this big, beautiful world…and we will be there holding their hand every step of the journey.

What we can say is that your unborn child is our beacon of dreams and hope for our future, someone we would cherish and raise with joy and enduring love.

About Us

By Justin
Caleb is the most self-confident, giving person I have ever met. His love runs so deep. Caleb does not make excuses or hide who he is. Seeing this brought me new life as I had been hiding from myself for so long. After the constant feelings of never being enough or being judged, Caleb provided a safe place for me where I could simply be my true self.

By Caleb
“To know someone is to love them” originated with Justin in mind! I am reminded daily of the genuine love and selflessness that he has. He is always the first to volunteer or provide positive feedback in any situation or a helping hand to a friend in need. Justin is larger than life and does not know how to do anything small. He is the true leader, a mentor, a businessman but, most of all, a true friend.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a cute, traditional-style neighborhood. We started building our home in 2017. This process was extremely meaningful for us as a couple as we learned a lot about each other and realized we work very well together. Our beautiful house is a place of love, laughter, and warmth. Our neighbors have become family and are supportive of us growing a family of our own. We have three dogs—Gurdy, Gus, and Gucci (GG for short)---that keep our home full of energy. Our neighborhood is very diverse with children and elderly neighbors alike. We find that there is never a dull moment with things to do and people to see.

Our Extended Family

Our families are excited for our adoption process! Both sets of parents absolutely LOVE being grandparents. Our sisters have fully embraced their role as aunties. Justin’s sister is a mom of four beautiful little girls under the age of eight, including a set of identical triplets. Our time with the girls has always been something we look forward to and helped solidify why we wanted to become parents.

Caleb’s sister and her wife are both ER/trauma nurses. Their love for Liam has inspired them to start a family of their own. Their passion and love for helping others has really shown just how great of aunts they are to little Liam.

Being well connected has always been a priority of ours in order to establish a strong personal support system. We have been fortunate to establish several key relationships through our work, service, and personal activities. The people we surround ourselves with are an extension of who we are and who we want our family to be: loving, caring, supportive, accepting, and real. We do not tolerate hate in any form and strive to keep our home a safe, inclusive, and reaffirming environment for all.

Our Adoption Story

On January 1, 2022, we were blessed to become dads with the birth of our son, William August. Little Liam (as we call him) has brought so much joy and fulfillment to our lives. Liam is also the first grandchild to Caleb’s parents, and they couldn’t be any happier. Becoming parents has been no easy task, but we have allowed this process to expand us as humans and fully embraced our roles as fathers. The only thing that would make us happier is the opportunity to do it again and expand our family with another precious little one and sibling for Liam. We are excited to grow our family and share the love and joy life has given us with another child.
