Family Type: Gay
State we live in: North Carolina

dear expectant mother

Here we are. All four of us. You, us, and your baby, who is precious in every possible way. Every decision in our lives has brought us here to this very moment. Words are hard to come by, and we can’t pretend to know what it’s like to be in your difficult situation. We can’t come close to knowing how difficult of a decision this is. But what we can tell you is thank you.

Thank you for loving this child enough to consider entrusting them with parents who will give everything to see them succeed. Thank you for considering entrusting the well-being, care, health, education, safety, ups and downs, laughs, and love to us. If you choose us, we won’t let you down. We would remain eternally grateful and humbled by your decision and will devote our lives to loving our child and doing whatever it takes to give our child the best future and life.

Our home environment will be one of the best family environments and filled with laughter, joy, and encouragement. Our home will provide a home full of Christmas cheer and scares and treats for Halloween! We can’t promise perfection, but we can promise we’ll give our child everything they need to reach their potential by always supporting them while teaching compassion. We believe in strong family values while instilling morals and building traditions to help them navigate their lives with unconditional love.

If you choose us, we won’t let you down. We would remain eternally grateful and humbled by your decision and will devote our lives to loving our child and doing whatever it takes to give our child the best future and life.

About Us

We’re Chad and James. We both grew up in small towns before both moving to the suburbs of a thriving, family-friendly city. We met online in 2008, and after years of traveling, working on furthering our education, and growing our careers, we got engaged in 2015 then married a year later. Our lakeside engagement and tropical wedding were both small and intimate. We’re an outgoing, charismatic, and highly motivated couple. We believe in open communication and honesty. Aside from that, we’re complete opposites of each other. We equally complement as we complete each other. We both work for large, family-friendly finance companies that allow remote work, and they are both equally supportive of our hopes and dreams of raising a loving family. Our rewarding careers have enabled us to plan a life full of wonderful memories for our future beautiful child.

Our Home & Pets

We built our current lovely spacious home the same year we got married. Our diverse neighborhood has a strong sense of community, with vast cultural and ethnic influences from many backgrounds. The majority of households in our neighborhood are full of young children and pets. We take our three adoring Great Danes for daily walks on the walking trails, around ponds, and on biking greenways. We have a kid-friendly community pool, a playground, and other amenities. We’re close to a world-class amusement park and conveniently located between the mountains and ocean. The highly-rated elementary school is within walking distance from our house, and the miles of sidewalks provide healthy opportunities for frequent walks and bike rides, with plenty of dining and shopping close by.

Our Extended Family

We both come from large families. Chad has four siblings who can’t wait to spoil our future child and fourteen nieces and nephews who are ready to play with him or her. James is an only child, but James’s mom has a large family, so there will always be plenty of aunts, uncles, and cousins around for our warm holiday traditions.

We’d like to continue some of the traditions of being involved with the arts. For example, James’s family were all in the marching band and choirs. We feel exposing our child to music, arts, and performances will only enhance their experiences and learning.

Holiday traditions include baking Grandma’s famous chocolate chip cookies and binge watching all of the Christmas classics, new and old. We decorate our home like crazy; we just love Christmas time. Another favorite tradition of ours is Friendsgiving, where our friends and extended family get together and celebrate our appreciation for each other. We’re also equally excited to create new traditions for our family, some of which will come to fruition when we get to celebrate what he or she is passionate about.

What Led Us To Adoption

We always knew we wanted to adopt. We have so much love to give and life to live, and we want to share that with a child. Traditional means of conception are not possible for us, and we feel the adoption process allows us to grow our family while providing us time to prepare throughout this process. James’s dad is also adopted, so adoption is remarkably close and near and dear to our hearts. We want to provide the same chances in life and are inspired to provide similar amazing life opportunities for our future child.
