dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We want to thank you for taking the time to read our profile! We understand this can be such an overwhelming process and experience for you. In that respect, we have such a deep admiration for you to begin this process so bravely and selflessly, as we can only imagine how daunting and scary it may be. It is only because of your selflessness and bravery that we may be given the opportunity to receive one of the greatest blessings of our lives, something we have hoped and prayed for so long: the blessing of becoming parents to a beautiful child. Through the love and support of our family and friends and our unwavering faith, we have made it here to you.

We want to assure you that your baby will grow up in a supportive home with two parents who will love them unconditionally if you choose us. We want to encourage them to explore new things and find what they love, and we will be right there to cheer them on. We will teach your baby about diversity and accepting others from all walks of life and will instill in them a sense of compassion and empathy. Your baby will also grow up with four very protective four-legged siblings to play with.

Most importantly, we would like to reemphasize how thankful we are for your consideration and the respect we have for you to begin this process.

With love,
Zachary & Chelsea

We will teach your baby about diversity and accepting others from all walks of life and will instill in them a sense of compassion and empathy.

About Us

Hi! We are Zach and Chelsea. We met in Columbus, GA, and have been married for nearly four years. We are a caring, hard-working, and fun-loving couple who enjoys spending time with one another, making each other laugh, and playing with our dogs. We love being outdoors and trying to visit new places in our community as well as places abroad, creating lasting memories. Chelsea also loves to bake, cook, and stay active by working out. Zach loves to stay active by going to the gym or playing recreational sports. Zach has made a successful career for himself in the military, and Chelsea works in the behavioral health field with the active-duty military personnel. Our strong and open communication is fundamental to the success of our marriage. We genuinely enjoy spending as much quality time as we can together, and we are overjoyed to be expanding our family!

Our Home & Pets

In January 2024 we relocated to Tennessee from Italy, where we have lived for the past three years. We live in a lovely three-bedroom home in a newly developed subdivision in a beautiful area near the Cumberland River. We have an outdoor children’s park and walking trail on the riverfront. We find this area to be rather special because of the overabundance of activities to do here. We live near some of the moderately to highest ranked schools in the school district, with many schools to choose from. We also have four fur babies who are a huge part of our family, and they are very excited to have a human sibling to love and protect.

Our Extended Family

We are both very blessed with very supportive families. Chelsea has her mom and two brothers, one older and one younger. Her older brother is married and has four young children ranging from ten years old to three years old in a neighboring city in Tennessee. Chelsea has two living grandmothers, two aunts, two uncles, and seven cousins who live in Wisconsin. Zach has his mom and dad and three older sisters who all have their own families. Zach has five nieces and one nephew on his side who are all adults now beginning their own families.

Holidays are always a special time, and we incorporate many familial traditions. St. Nickolas is a Christmas tradition we incorporated into our family when we got married, where we hang our stockings on December 6. We try to visit with family as much as we can. When we get to spend time with our young nieces and nephews, we play board games, play outside, read books, and so much more. We enjoy laughing together and spending time with everyone whenever we have the chance.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are absolutely thrilled to be a part of this adoption journey! We both were so excited to expand our family after we got married. However, after years of infertility and suffering three miscarriages, we decided God had different plans for us. Adoption was something we discussed early on in our relationship, and after careful, thoughtful, and prayerful consideration, we believe this is the best decision for our family. We truly believe God has blessed us with the opportunity to experience growing our family through adoption, and we could not be happier.
