Family Type: Heterosexual Couple
State We live in: North Carolina

dear expectant mother

Thank you for reading our profile! We’re grateful for the opportunity to share a little about ourselves and our journey to becoming parents. We can’t begin to understand what you’re going through, but please know how appreciative we are that you are considering us to be your baby’s adoptive parents. We don’t know you yet, but we’ve been praying for you and your baby. To adopt would be a miracle and answer to our prayers. We’re very excited about the possibility of welcoming a child into our lives.

Our affirmation throughout this process has been “Faith Over Fear.” We have faith that we are destined to meet you and that your child is meant to be a special part of our family. We hope our profile is just the start of you getting to know us and feeling comfortable with us. If you choose us, please know your baby will be loved and supported no matter what life throws their way. We will always work to be positive influences in their life and set them up for success while still encouraging them to be silly and creative. We dream of sharing family traditions, celebrating milestones, and creating memories together. It is important to us that your child knows their story and the love that surrounds it.

We deeply respect the decision you’re considering making. Choosing adoption takes strength and courage, and we want to honor your choices. We hope to hear from you soon.

With love,
Zach & Christina

About Us

Hello! We are Christina and Zach. We are honestly so excited and nervous about this process and can only imagine the roller coaster of emotions you are going through. We are on this journey with you. We are a goofy, fun couple with serious jobs that we leave at work. Zach is an active duty Army helicopter pilot. Before commissioning in the Army as an officer, he served in the Marines for nine years. Christina has been an attorney for almost a decade and works for the Army as a civilian. Our house is always filled with laughter, music, and dancing. It’s a calm and cozy environment where we get to be ourselves. We’ve been together for two and a half years and have a lifetime to go. We both share a love for the outdoors (especially when it’s not 1000 degrees, unless we’re at the beach), traveling the world, and exploring our local community.

Our Home & Pets

We are an Army family about to move to North Carolina for three years. We’ve become pros at moving and setting up our home to make the most out of each place we live. Our goal is always to find something unique about each new town, and we make photo books of our adventures. We have a great community of Army friends that have become family and extended family close by. We love participating in our local community and attending festivals. The neighborhood we are moving to has a wonderful school district and parks. We are excited to get out hiking with our pups, Captain and Bree. They are Aussie/Labradors and love everything from cuddles to walks. They can’t wait to meet their new sibling!

Our Extended Family

Family is incredibly important to both of us.

Christina was raised with one younger sister by her mom and dad in South Florida. Her mom came to the U.S. from Cuba as a child. Celebrating culture, both Cuban and American, was a huge part of her childhood. She was raised around her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She has a close relationship with her sister and brother-in-law, and they have a one-year-old son. She has a great tribe of girlfriends who are also like sisters and can’t wait to be aunts.

Zach was raised by his mom and adoptive dad in North Dakota with seven siblings (four biological and three adopted). He was the baby! He was lucky to get to know all of his grandparents throughout his life. As a teenager, he met his biological dad and learned he had another brother. He is big on family and keeping up with all of his nieces and nephews. Zach also has close Army buddies who are like brothers and are incredibly supportive.

At the end of the day, between adopted, biological, and close friends, our extended family is thrilled to welcome a baby into the mix.

What Led Us To Adoption

Our dream is to be parents. Both of us are firm believers that love and support are what make a family. We’ve discussed the idea of adoption since we started dating. Zach was adopted when he was five and has always had it in his heart to take in a child the way his dad did. Christina’s family was blessed by adoption when her cousin was adopted from China. After struggling with infertility, we realized this was our sign to act on what we had always discussed. We’re so excited to share our home, love of education, and adventures with your child. They would be our miracle baby, and we could not be more grateful to be even considered to raise and love them.
