dear expectant mother

We can’t begin to comprehend the difficult choice you are making, and we want to express our extreme gratitude for even taking the time to learn about us, study us, and possibly choose to get to know us as people who will love your child unconditionally.

We have dreamed of making our family complete with a baby. We take the responsibility of fatherhood seriously, and we are hopeful about our future. Please know, more than anything else, your child will be raised in a home of love, understanding, empathy, and compassion. These core beliefs of ours extend not only to our family but also to you, our friends, humankind, and animals. We share a genuine belief that deep down, people are good at heart and that everyone deserves to be loved, no matter the circumstances they find themselves in in their lives.

We are also grateful you would consider letting your baby have two loving fathers who will do anything in the world to take care of all of your child’s needs in life. Parenting does not stop at eighteen years old; parenting is a lifelong journey and commitment that transcends all other human connections. We invite you to be a part of that journey if you choose to do so. We can’t understand the weight of this decision you are making, but we want you to know you and your baby will always have our unconditional love, support, and admiration.

About Us

We are a driven, goal-oriented couple. We enjoy a variety of activities: playing musical instruments, reading, gaming, and staying physically active through working out and kickboxing. Josh is a big Marvel nerd; he loves X-Men comic books, and he’s been collecting comics for over thirty years. Christopher has loved playing chess and video games since he was a kid, and he has every console and a ton of games! We are both goofy and big kids at heart. We love to laugh and to have fun, but we also know how to be serious and get things done. Christopher works from home as an editor, and Josh works as a restaurant general manager. Christopher was a high school English teacher for almost ten years and then transitioned to working from home. Josh worked for over twenty years as a retail district manager before finding a new career in restaurant management.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is a newly remodeled townhouse in Tennessee with a playground, an Olympic pool, and other amenities. We have a gorgeous view from our back patio and a great school district, and we are in the heart of many attractions, such as vacation destinations, nature parks, and water and theme parks. Our town is special because it has a small-town feel, but it is also a hub of activity. We can travel a short distance and have enriching experiences, such as movies/theater, shopping, dining, and concerts, to name a few. We have two senior rescue dogs, AJ and Angus, who are both eleven years old. They have been with us since they were puppies, and they are great with kids!

Our Extended Family

Christopher has a mother, an older brother, a sister-in-law, two nephews, and a grandfather. We all enjoy spending time together laughing and playing games. Christopher’s nephews are seven and nine years old. They love to come and learn how to play new games and to just hang out with their uncle and Mimi (grandmother) as much as possible. We always have family holidays at our house, where each year everyone gathers together and makes memories that last forever.

Josh has a mother, father, two younger sisters, two brothers-in-law, nine nieces and nephews, a granny and papaw, and eight aunts and uncles. Josh has a large extended family that has a history of family reunions, holiday get-togethers, and Southern-style cooking that would blow your mind and explode anyone’s taste buds.

Our five kids are extremely close to their cousins. We can already see our new baby fitting in easily in our loving and accepting family, and we want to start new traditions once our baby arrives. We love to keep things simple and memorable.

What Led Us To Adoption

Josh has five children from a previous marriage, and they range in ages from ten to twenty-one years old. Christopher has no biological children, and we both want to experience the joy of raising a child together. Christopher has always wanted to be a father, and Josh wants nothing more than to experience that joy with him. We both know our calling in life is fatherhood and having a large, happy family. We agreed adopting is the best option for us, and our kids couldn’t be more excited about having a younger sibling.
