dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

It’s hard to find words knowing you are going through possibly one of the hardest times of your life. While we approach this with excitement and anticipation, we would imagine you have a lot more taxing emotions. So we approach this knowing we can’t possibly speak to your feelings, but we will do our best to express ours.

We want to support you. You will always be important in your child’s life. Should you allow us, we will seek to honor you, share stories of you, and include you. We truly have been praying for you and your child for years, not yet knowing your names but knowing one day our paths will cross.
We would expect it would be easy to look at our family of six and perhaps conclude it’s too much to add another. We want to affirm that this is far from the truth. Our household is full of a lot of activity, and we wholeheartedly believe we have more than enough time, energy, money, and room in our hearts to add another child to our family. We believe big families are a tremendous blessing and would love for your child to join ours.

We promise to love your child with the same passion and commitment we have with our other four, give them opportunities for education and travel, and bring them along on an adventure full of love, laughter, and lifelong support. Thank you for considering our family.
