Family Type: Gay Couple
State We live in: California

dear expectant mother

We can only imagine the strength, courage, and love it takes to consider adoption. The fact that you’re here reading this speaks volumes about the care you have for your baby. This isn’t an easy decision and we want to acknowledge the depth of emotion that comes with it. We may not know your full story, but we see the love and thoughtfulness in the path you’re walking. Whatever you choose, we hope you feel supported, respected, and surrounded by kindness every step of the way.

If we’re lucky enough to be chosen by you, your child will grow up knowing how deeply they are loved—not just by us, but by you. They’ll know that your choice came from a place of strength and selfless love, and we will honor that part of their story with honesty and compassion. We’ve dreamed of becoming dads for a long time and this journey has given us a deep appreciation for the love that brings people together in unexpected, beautiful ways.

We imagine a life filled with bedtime stories and giggles, pool days in the sun, pancake breakfasts, and loud, happy family holidays. A home where your child will feel safe, celebrated, and supported. They’ll be free to explore who they are, chase their dreams, and know they are loved unconditionally. Thank you for considering us!

About Us

We’re Tyler and Dakota! A fun-loving, down-to-earth couple who believe life is better with laughter, dance breaks, and a family dog who steals your place on the couch. Tyler is an outgoing go-getter who can whip up a delicious dinner without a recipe, fix just about anything, and somehow makes friends with everyone (even the plants). He works as a business operations manager, staying organized, dependable, and he is always the one who shows up when it matters. Dakota is always up for an adventure and also a curious brainiac who can out-strategize you in board games, bake sourdough like a wizard, and drop dad jokes so bad they’re actually good. He works as a senior software engineer, where patience, precision, and a bit of imagination go a long way. We enjoy cooking as a family especially when littles, like our nephew, join in because nothing says love like a messy kitchen and pancakes shaped like questionable dinosaurs. Whether we’re out on an adventure or winding down at home with our very cuddly (and slightly spoiled) dog, Nitro, we’re all about finding joy in the little things and sharing them with the people we love.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We live in a wonderful neighborhood with our very sweet chocolate lab, Nitro. Our home is tucked at the end of a cul-de-sac with a big shady tree out front and a backyard oasis featuring a pool! We’re a short drive from all kinds of fun spots: parks, a river and lake, farmers’ markets, theaters, a zoo, and plenty of restaurants to keep our taste buds busy. The local schools are top-notch, with awesome after-school activities like basketball and ninja classes to keep little ones moving and smiling. It’s a cozy, lively spot that’s full of love and adventure.

Our Family & Friends

We're lucky to have a big, loving extended family that's spread out across the country, but distance doesn't keep us apart. We live just ten minutes from Tyler's sister and our sweet nephew, who we adore and spend time with often! We make it a point to have weekly family dinner nights where we'll cook and eat a meal together, followed by popcorn and a Disney movie. Beyond that, we travel regularly to visit family in Colorado, Minnesota, and Florida, and there's never a shortage of laughter, friendly competition, or home-cooked meals.

Whether we're playing board games, going bowling, watching movies, or diving into any group activity that gets everyone involved, family time is always full of connection and fun. We alternate holidays between California and Colorado, keeping traditions alive with lots of food, stories, and the occasional attempt at a group photo that never quite works out—but we love it anyway.

What Led Us To Adoption

We're beyond excited and honored (maybe a little nervous) to become dads. Both of our moms were adopted, so we know firsthand that families are built on love. Our biggest hope is that our child always feels loved, totally comfortable being themselves, and inspired to chase any dream they have. Adoption isn't just a path for us—it's the start of an incredible adventure, and we can't wait to open our hearts and home to all the joy, chaos, and love that comes with it.
