dear expectant mother

Thank you! We feel that should be said first and foremost. We are honored that you took the time to look at our profile and are hopefully considering us to love and raise your baby. We cannot imagine everything you are feeling right now. We know you’re selfless and brave for considering the best option for you and your precious little one. We hope you have the support and love you need during this time.

If you choose us, your baby will be the greatest gift for our family. We promise that your baby will be in a home with so much love, a home where they are safe and cared for, with two people who will fight for them and protect them from the world. We will try to be the best example for them and guide them in the right direction as they grow and learn. We will raise them with a sibling, not just someone for them to grow up with but a lifelong friend. We want you to know we will respect you and your wishes. We want you to be comfortable with your choice and know for certain that we will be the best family to raise your baby. Thank you again for taking the time to get to know us and our little family.

If you choose us, your baby will be the greatest gift for our family.

About Us

We are each other’s high school sweethearts and met at our bus stop. We instantly became best friends and started dating a couple years later. After graduation, we married in 2012. Taylor enjoys the creative aspect of cosmetology, where her focus is bridal parties. Daniel works in medical distribution as a supervisor. Daniel is also a published author of a book created off a bedtime story he and our son, Jude, made up. We started getting into home gardening and enjoy outdoor activities such as camping and playing at the local park. We like to laugh, and it’s not uncommon to have a random lyric of a song belted out or Daniel and Jude pretending they are dinosaurs to “attack” Taylor. We enjoy cooking at home, where the whole family is involved; we may even bust a move to the silly music playing in the background.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is a three-bedroom, three-bath house in a small town in West Tennessee. Our neighbors are close relatives, and our rural town is quiet and normally puts on festivals to celebrate holidays and seasons. Our son attends a private Christian school right outside of town. We have two dogs, Molly and Chester. Molly is a beagle/Jack Russell mix is a rescue a coworker found and we took in until we could find her a forever home. Joke’s on us: We were her forever home—that was almost nine years ago! Chester is a miniature dachshund, and he is almost 15 years old. Taylor got him on her 16th birthday. He was a package deal that came with Taylor when we married.

Our Extended Family

We believe family is very important and often enjoy gatherings for holidays and birthdays. Both of our families have been so supportive and loving with our decision to adopt.

Taylor comes from a large, close-knit family that lives within minutes of each other in the same little town in Tennessee. Her parents are very involved in our lives, and she has an older brother who gave her a niece and nephews she has always had a very close relationship with. They have had the same family traditions for years, so every holiday, you know exactly where everyone is meeting and exactly what time.

Daniel grew up in his earlier years in a small town in Arkansas until moving to Tennessee when he was a little older. He has older sisters who gave him nieces and nephews. Since he is the youngest child, he is close in age with most of them, so they were raised more like siblings. Recently, Daniel's family has moved back to Arkansas, but we still see his parents regularly when they come to visit for holidays or random weekends when they pop in to say hello. Daniel also has a very close relationship with his aunt and uncle who have always treated him as one of their own, and we consider them to be another set of parents.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always dreamed of adopting one day. When we got married, we were ready to have children immediately. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as easy as we hoped. Sadly, we had a miscarriage with our first pregnancy. A year later, we found out we were pregnant and were blessed with our son, Jude. We would love to add another child to our family because we feel we have so much love to give. It excites us to think about our son as a big brother and the adventures the four of us will experience together. Our family and friends have been very supportive of our decision and have offered prayers and kind words of encouragement.
