dear expectant mother

Thank you for taking the time to read through our profile. We are incredibly grateful and honored to even be considered by you. We know how loving, strong, courageous, and resilient you are to have chosen adoption. The gift you are considering providing us is a blessing and miracle for which we will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We look forward to building a relationship with you and providing your child unconditional love, safety, and all the opportunities the world has to offer.

Being in a multicultural relationship, we understand the importance of one’s culture and want to get to know you, your culture, and your traditions. We are dedicated to teaching your culture and traditions to your child so he or she can be proud of where they came from. As parents, we will teach your child to be kind, compassionate, and respectful to others as those are values we strongly believe in. We will be patient and understanding and will prioritize the needs of your child. We promise to provide a safe and healthy home full of laughter, love, and support where your child will grow and excel in life.

We are excited at the opportunity to build a relationship with you and embark on this journey together. We are overjoyed at the idea of growing our family and sharing our traditions. Thank you so much for considering us as your child’s adoptive parents.

About Us

Our personalities are quite different but complement each other perfectly. Cisco is the kind, caring, and empathetic extrovert, whereas Dustin is the loyal, strong-willed, and witty introvert. The foundation of our relationship is built on the shared values of communication, honesty, and respect. Together we have a loving and committed relationship that’s been going strong for almost six adventure-filled years. Cisco has always had a passion for helping others and is a successful behavior analyst providing therapy to children with autism. Dustin’s drive and love for the environment have led him to be a senior environmental scientist for a local utility company. We enjoy camping, hiking with our dogs, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Our evenings are usually spent at home cooking, reading, watching TV, and taking our dogs on a walk. During weekends, we typically catch up with friends over dinner or host a game night.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a diverse and progressive neighborhood outside of Seattle. We own a condo with a wood fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and breathtaking views of mountains and trees. Our home is located in one of the best school districts in Washington and within walking distance of several parks and playgrounds. We are fortunate to have access to a variety of outdoor activities and can explore the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest while still enjoying museums, tourist attractions, and farmers markets. We have two adorable Boston Terriers, named Radley and Jaxon, who are great with children. They have a lot of energy and love long walks, playing at the dog park, and exploring the outdoors.

Our Extended Family

Our families are very important to us. Cisco grew up with his parents and three siblings in New Mexico with the rest of his large extended family in Arizona. His immediate family has relocated to Texas. Dustin grew up with his parents, sister, and extended family in Indiana. Though our families don’t live in the same state, we plan annual trips to visit them. We make sure to spend quality time with each of them so they know how much we love and cherish them.

We have an amazing group of friends we consider our chosen family and support system. We love to host dinners, have game nights, and plan weekend getaways with friends. Our families and friends are extremely excited and supportive of us adopting a child.

We love to travel internationally in addition to annually planning local trips to camp in the forest, ski in the mountains, and relax by the beach. During the holidays, we have an ornament exchange, cut down a tree at a local tree farm, and decorate the tree. We each have fond memories of family cookouts, game nights, and vacations and are excited to continue all these traditions with our child.

What Led Us To Adoption

Bringing a child into our family has always been a priority for us, but we wanted to make sure we were at an appropriate point in our lives to do so. Fortunately, we have both seen professional success and are at a place where we have the means to provide for a child. After much research, we decided adoption was the best choice for us. We want the opportunity to share this journey with the mother and provide her child with unconditional love and support.
