Dear Expectant Mother,

We thank you greatly for taking the time to read our profile and for your consideration of us to raise your baby. We have deep respect and gratitude for you and your decision. We cannot express how truly grateful we are to you for considering helping us grow our family.

As a couple, we enjoy spending time with our families and cooking and baking while everyone is gathered around. We believe the kitchen is the heart and soul of our home and lives, and we also have a passion for music. We hope to share these traditions and passions with your child as they are what we cherish.

You are a blessing to us, and we cannot begin to understand the amount of love, courage, strength, and faith that is required to pursue adoption for your baby. Although we have not yet met, we look forward to meeting you and having a relationship with you. We have built a home and family anchored in love and open communication and would love to have a relationship with you as you desire and as we are all comfortable with. We admire and appreciate your strength and courage in this process and know we could learn a lot from you. About Us

We met during Kearnan’s first year of medical school, and our relationship quickly grew as we bonded over traveling, socializing with friends, and our love for our families. Although we come from different cultural backgrounds, we found our values have always been similar. We always knew we wanted children but needed to wait until our careers were settled. We also realized we would need support raising our daughter, so we added onto our house, and Kearnan’s mother now lives with us. Kearnan works as an endocrinologist, and Edgar works as a hairstylist.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a small, family-oriented city surrounded by the ocean and nature. The things we love most about our home are the location, its access to good school districts, and the living history. Our house is nestled within a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood and is surrounded by trees and plenty of yard space to play outdoors. We are walking distance to local shops, restaurants, museums, and parks. Recently we got a puppy, who is so gentle with our daughter. The two of them bonded quickly, and now he goes everywhere with us!

Our Extended Family

Edgar comes from a large Filipino family speaking both English and Tagalog with many traditions, from making his mother’s famous lumpias during the holidays to Thanksgiving holidays spent with nieces and nephews at Disneyland. Edgar’s beloved mother passed away years ago, and his sister has stepped into the role as the family’s loving matriarch.

As an only child, Kearnan grew up playing the piano and has composed many pieces. During the Christmas holidays, family members would gather around Kearnan at the piano and sing carols. Now our daughter loves to sit with him while he plays. He is fluent in American Sign Language as well as English. Kearnan's mom lives with us and is full time grandma, teaching our daughter art and music. Kearnan also comes from a family of bakers and has become known for his “famous” chocolate chip cookies, which have graced many weddings as favors and have even taken the place of a wedding cake!

Our Adoption Story

Three years ago, we went through LifeLong Adoptions and were blessed to adopt our daughter, who is now two. She has brought so much joy into our lives and to our extended families as well. With close family friends who have been adopted, we knew the beauty and gifts of adoption and that it would be our path to starting a family. Going through the adoption process with our daughter was unique and special. We are still in touch with her birthmom and are so grateful for the relationship we have built with her and the relationship she is able to foster with our daughter.
