dear expectant mother

We are so thankful for your consideration and taking the time to get to know us. You are brave, strong, and thoughtful. We cannot imagine how difficult this decision is for you to consider, and we want you to know we will be here for you every step of the way. If you choose us, we will devote our love to your baby and promise to give them a life full of traditions and memories that they will hold with them forever. Your baby will spend summers in Lake George being doted on by many cousins, and fall seasons carving pumpkins and drinking cider. Your child will be the center of our hearts and our worlds, and we cannot wait to open our arms and home to your beautiful bundle of joy.

We understand this is an emotional time, and we want to offer you our attention and support throughout this journey. Your consideration is a blessing, and we hope you find peace in the glimpse of our lives we have shown you. We would love to get to know you better so we can share all about you with your child someday, if that is what you choose. We cannot thank you enough for spending the time to get to know us through our profile, and we would love to walk this journey with you.

If you choose us your child will be the center of our hearts and our worlds, and we cannot wait to open our arms and home to your beautiful bundle of joy.

About Us

Even though we have been together for almost ten years, it feels like yesterday when we first met. We were introduced through a mutual friend in college, and it was an instant connection. We have been married for almost four years now. On our wedding day, Hurricane Matthew (yes, the name was quite a coincidence!) was in full force, but it couldn’t stop the excitement of our families uniting. We like to think all of that rain has brought us extra good luck over the years! Elaina is from Massachusetts, and Matt is from Pennsylvania. We decided to move to the north shore, where Elaina grew up, and settled in a small town in New Hampshire. We love spending time in the yard and taking our dogs for walks. We also enjoy attending rivalry baseball games when the Phillies come to play the Red Sox. It’s an annual tradition!

Our Home & Pets

We live in a small, quiet town in southern New Hampshire. We moved out of our first home last year and are currently living in what we believe is our forever home! We have a large fenced-in yard that our dogs love. We live in a neighborhood that is great for walking. Matt is a police officer a few towns over, and Elaina teaches first grade. We have two younger dogs and a senior dog who loves to nap all day. We also have two cats who spend their days sleeping in the window sills. Elaina loves to garden and is in the town garden club. Matt can be found taking the two youngest dogs for daily runs and teaching them new tricks.

Our Extended Family

Our families are both loving and supportive of our adoption journey. When we first told our families of our decision to move forward with adoption, we were overjoyed with all of the happiness they had for us.

Matt’s parents, grandmother, and three siblings live in Pennsylvania. We see them often and spend our summers with all of his extended family in Lake George. Jumping off of the dock, paddle boarding, and water skiing are just a few of the daily activities we love on the lake. We cannot wait to share this important tradition with our growing family.

Elaina’s parents live near the coast in Massachusetts. They enjoy going to the beach all summer long and cannot wait to share their love for the ocean with their future grandchildren. Elaina’s sister lives in South Carolina and is excited for the day she can spoil her future niece or nephew! Both of our families love to gather together on the holidays, and we feel so blessed to have such a large support system throughout this journey.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always known we were meant to adopt. Having discussed this before getting married, it was no question this was what we were going to do when we felt the time was right. After experiencing several years of infertility, we took that as a sign it was now our time to bring a child into this world through adoption. It was never a question of if; it was always a question of when. We are beyond thrilled to grow our family through adoption, and we know all of our fur babies will be just as welcoming.
