Family Type: Traditional
State we live in: Colorado

dear expectant mother

It is with great joy that we present this picture of our life to you. We can only imagine how difficult this decision must be for you. Please know our home would be one of love, joy, and adventure for your little one, if you were to decide to bless us with the gift of your child. One of our greatest aspirations has always been to walk through this world with a beautiful child as a part of our family.

If brought into our home, your child will have the support of generations of teachers, the adventures of a community of explorers through the outdoors and international cultures, and a family full of traditions built on the foundation of love. We want your child to travel through South America and Japan with us, to savor New Year’s Days full of music and laughter, to be bathed in the beauty of the Colorado mountains, and to dine on home-cooked pancakes, eggs, and bacon on Sunday mornings. We will teach them to be kind, joyful, accepting of themselves and others, excited by culture, and giving to those in need. Your child will be a true light in this world.

We look forward to getting to know you, and we thank you for your consideration of us and our home to love and guide your child through this world.

If brought into our home, your child will have the support of generations of teachers, the adventures of a community of explorers through the outdoors and international cultures, and a family full of traditions built on the foundation of love.

About Us

As the oddest of pairings that fits together magically, like peanut butter on a hamburger or bacon and chocolate, we couldn’t imagine a better fit. We met while working at a nonprofit dedicated to the success and healing of children and youth having experienced past traumatic events. From this common life mission of serving others blossomed a beautiful love built on family, adventure, and fun. Our days are spent enjoying the beauty of the outdoors, time with friends, creative kitchen concoctions, cultural immersion, doggie cuddles, and family shenanigans. Music permeates our lives from the kitchen and the car to the office and jam sessions with friends and fam; it never stops. We strive to bring joy, love, understanding, and honesty into the lives of those we touch.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is by far our favorite place to be. The open living space provides a den of connection. In the summer, the aroma of delicious creations made fresh from our backyard garden flood our home. Its central location less than 15 minutes from countless friends and family members makes it a hub for spreading love and joy. Within half a mile, a park and school will be frequent play places for our dog, Oso, and your beautiful child as we adventure together.

Our Extended Family

Family is one of the most important aspects in our lives. We consider family much more than just blood relation. Our best friends are simply the family we have chosen. This web of loved ones brings all those involved a level of support that is unmatched. Most of our family lives within 30 minutes of our home, including our parents, six sisters, two nieces, and four nephews.

We have many favorite family traditions. New Year’s Day is spent with Andy’s dad, stepmom, sisters, and niece as well as our closest friends playing music and singing the day away. Chinese New Year is a celebration of culture with Hot Pot with our friends who lived in China for two years. In celebration of Andy’s mom’s favorite culture, we spend a night the week before having Italian Thanksgiving with her and our closest friends while eating our favorite Italian foods. Thanksgiving break is spent with Beth’s parents and sisters traveling to warmer climates for an adventure in hotel turkey cooking. But our favorite celebrations are those of the individuals we love: the birthdays where we can appreciate the gift each one is to our life.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always known parenting would be one of our greatest gifts. The joy, love, and adventure woven into all aspects of our lives is something that begs to be shared with a little munchkin. Adoption has woven through our family tree for generations. Andy’s stepsister was adopted as well as Beth’s oldest sister, one niece, and one nephew. We are incredibly excited to create our family through the same loving miracle of adoption.
