Dear Expectant Mother,

We appreciate your taking the time to review our profile, and we look forward to the opportunity to get to know you better. We value the time you have taken to make this very important and difficult decision regarding adoption. Your courage, selfless love, and generosity are to be commended on the highest level. We’re wishing you the best of all things in the future and the peace of mind knowing that if you choose us, your child will be well taken care of and loved.

We always had the desire to become fathers, and adoption is such an amazing process that could allow us to fulfill this dream. We have a warm and very loving family, all of whom cannot wait to meet a new addition to our family. Ours is a home full of fun, love, laughter, music, friends, and family. Our promise to you: Your baby will always be loved and supported unconditionally if you choose us.

Thank you again for taking the time to read a little about us. Our hearts are full with the possibility of adopting your baby, and our mutual adoration for you has no bounds. Sending all of our best to you during this process, and we hope to have the chance to connect.

About Us

We met in 2006 while at a university. We had an immediate connection and have been together ever since. We have now been together for over 15 years and recently celebrated our ten-year wedding anniversary. In that time, we have had many great experiences and memories, but we are ready to have children and grow our family. Law works in the interior design industry, and Eric is a nurse anesthetist. We both have schedules that will allow us to be present and involved fathers while raising a child. This is something we both had growing up, and it’s important to us. We spend much of our downtime enjoying our home, yard, and each other’s company. We also like to travel, exercise, garden, cook, and spend time with family and friends. We look forward to providing a secure and loving home to a child and making more great family memories.

Our Home

After living in Chicago for almost ten years, we moved back to Michigan to be closer to our families. We purchased our first home, and we had the adventure of remodeling after moving in. Law works in interior design, so being able to personalize our new home was a passion of his. Our neighborhood is a diverse and wonderful place full of wildlife, mature trees, and lakes, along with friendly neighbors. In our community, there is an emphasis on education, safety, and lifelong learning. We proudly feature some of the highest-ranking public schools in the state along with museums, libraries, and lots of fun community events.

Our Extended Family

Law is from a very large family and is the third oldest of eight children. We are lucky to be uncles and have three nieces and one nephew. We enjoy spending time with our families, and there is seemingly always an event or get-together with lots of fun, laughter, and love.

Eric is very close with his family, whom we see often. His parents live just over an hour away, and his sister and her family live just one mile down the road. His sister is married with two young girls. We enjoy the close relationship we have with our nieces. We spend many summer weekends together at the family cottage on a lake in northern Michigan, where Eric’s grandparents also have a home. As a family, we also ski together on many winter weekends. It is a blessing to have the love and support of a great family nearby. They are excited about the opportunity for us to adopt and grow our family. Our child will be welcomed and loved.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have known we wanted to be parents for many years now and discuss it regularly. Growing up, Law always took care of his younger siblings; in fact, he was the only high school student he knew who drove a station wagon with an infant car seat in the back. This kind of responsibility was instrumental in shaping the adult he became. It is why he loves kids and always knew he wanted to be a father. After thoughtful discussion and considerations, we have chosen adoption as our path to becoming parents. We have met many other gay couples who have adopted and have seen the joy and love it has brought to their lives.
