Erin & Kevin

Family Type: Traditional
State we live in: South Carolina

dear expectant mother

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to introduce ourselves and tell you about our family. While Kevin is already a parent, we would love to be parents together and share our love with a child. We love to smile and laugh often and think life is a blessing that should never be taken for granted. We would care for your baby with love, laughter, and smiles. Erin is into hiking and outdoor activities, and Kevin enjoys kayaking and fishing. We look forward to exploring this world with them as they become their own person. We want to let a child know they are capable of standing on their own two feet when they become an adult but still promote the ability to rely upon their loving parents.

We have resources that allow Erin to work from home fully. Our relationships with our family and friends are long and enduring, and we respect everyone for their beliefs without passing judgment. We hope to share this with a child and walk through life with him or her with an understanding of differences and acceptance. Together we have 14 nieces and nephews whom we love to interact with and watch grow.

Please know we are thinking of you and your sweet baby often throughout your pregnancy and that we will find peace with whatever decision you make.

We would care for your baby with love, laughter, and smiles. We look forward to exploring this world with them as they become their own person.

About Us

We met several years ago and felt an immediate connection. We are still amazed at how easy it was to merge our lives and are so happy with the instantaneous companionship we still share. We still value our individuality but, at the same time, share a love for life and happiness. We were married this past June in front of a small group of family and friends. Kevin has worked as a welder for the past 25+ years, and Erin has been a paralegal for the past 20+ years. We respect each other for consistency we both have in our careers and value each other’s work ethic. We love living where we do as we are near family and live in a very welcoming community.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a small community within a larger community that is convenient to schools, groceries, and various activities. We are close to an amusement park that has fun activities for kids and adults alike and are about half a mile away from the nearby lake for swimming activities and numerous playgrounds. Our home is well maintained and has room for a large family and furry friends. We are a furry family right now with pups Ferris, Otis, Eddie, and Flash, who are very spoiled but well loved. We have a wonderful home with plenty of space to raise a family and look forward to sharing our love with a child.

Our Extended Family

We both have loving family members near and far. Holidays are shared together as much as possible, and it means so much to see the happiness on our nieces and nephews’ faces during these gatherings. Kevin’s parents travel down to spend time with us as much as possible and are so excited for us. They cannot wait to meet their newest grandchild.

Erin’s father and aunt live close, and we see them often. Erin’s mother is no longer with us, but she was an amazing soul and would be so excited to have another grandchild in her life. Erin’s sister and brother-in-law live closeby with our nephews, whom we see often, and Kevin’s children live within 30 minutes of us. Erin has siblings in Arizona, Illinois, and New York, and while we do not see them as often as we want, we are in constant contact, which makes the distance easier.

We also have close friends near and far whom we both consider extended family, and we see them as often as possible.

What Led Us To Adoption

After meeting and falling in love, we discussed what is most important in life, and to us, that’s family. We wanted to have children together but are unable to naturally and feel adoption allows us a chance to share our love with a child. Adoption has been a part of Erin’s life as long as she can remember as she was adopted herself and was raised in a family of six, where five of the six children were adopted. Erin was well loved and had an amazing childhood. Kevin has raised two children who are doing well and loves being a father. We look forward to sharing our love, lives, and experiences with a child with open arms.
