dear expectant mother

While we understand this may be an emotional time for you, we recognize that you care about your baby very much and deeply respect that you are exploring different options to ensure your baby has a happy and healthy life.

If you decide an adoption plan is the best option for you and your baby, we know there are many wonderful people looking to adopt, and it must be a difficult decision to make. We appreciate the opportunity to tell you more about us and our family so you can decide if we would be a good fit for you and your baby. If you so choose, we are also interested in getting to know you at any level you’re comfortable with.

While none of us can know exactly what the future holds, we can promise you this: If we have the opportunity to adopt, we will love that child for the rest of our lives. Our families would love them too. We would work tirelessly to make sure your child had the best life we could provide, including a good education, the chance to travel, and learning the importance of kindness and helping others. Our ultimate goal would be for them to grow up to be happy and healthy adults and to support them as they made their own life choices.

We are happy to answer any and all questions you might have and look forward to hearing from you. Regardless of if you choose us or not, we wish you and your baby all the best.

We know this is the path meant for us to grow our family and we are so excited to be here!

About Us

We met in 2016 and got married in August 2018. All our family and friends came to celebrate with us! We are truly best friends and love spending time together at home, outdoors, visiting antique stores, and taking mini road trips to explore new places. Erin also enjoys making scrapbooks and other crafts, gardening, and reading; Roger likes talking to people on his ham radio, golfing, and fishing. Our families live nearby, so we often get together with them for dinner, birthday parties, holidays, and our nieces and nephews’ various activities.

Our Home & Pets

We live in an affluent suburban area of Arkansas that is often recognized as one of the “Best Places to Live in the U.S.” with top-rated schools, beautiful state and local parks, museums, bike paths, theaters, concert venues, and plenty of options to participate in things like sports, music lessons, etc. We live in a nice neighborhood with a pool. Our large house has a fenced yard with a vegetable garden, fruit trees, and room for a play set. We enjoy having dinner together, and Erin loves to decorate for all the holidays and hosting get-togethers with our families. We have three gentle cats we adopted from a local shelter. They keep us laughing with their silly antics and provide lots of snuggles!

Our Extended Family

Both of our parents divorced when we were children and three of the four of them remarried, so we essentially have four families now! We don’t have any children yet, but if your baby joined our family, they would have many grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins!

All our families live nearby, and we get together often for holidays, birthdays, and other special events. We especially enjoy spending time with our nieces and nephews. Everyone is very excited that we may be starting our family soon, and they have given us so many gifts that we already have a nursery and playroom ready and waiting!

What Led Us To Adoption

As we started our adoption journey, we found we are different from many couples in that adoption is our first choice to start our family. Because we don’t have diagnosed infertility issues, some adoption agencies wouldn’t even work with us, and that makes us sad because we don’t feel adoption should be viewed as just a backup plan. We know this is the path meant for us to grow our family and we are so excited to be here!
