We are honored you would consider us as you plan for your future. Life can take so many unexpected twists and turns. We both certainly never expected to find one another after what seemed like a full life before us prior to that fateful weekend we met 2.5 years ago. We are both full of hope that our lives will now intersect with yours and the life of a beautiful child. We are hoping to join a path that will entwine us on a journey we choose together.

About Us

On a cold night in January 2021, we met unexpectedly, through mutual friends, at a group weekend getaway. We each had a nice quiet weekend outdoors planned with our respective best friends to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and work. Over two days of hiking, camping, and cooking meals over the fire in the evening, we quickly discovered we had quite a bit in common. We got to know each other and found a friendship and bond that changed our lives forever! While at home, we love doing do -it yourself (DIY) projects together around the house and spend countless hours in the yard gardening, mowing our lawn, walking on the countless outdoor trails near our home, and playing with our dogs. We love trying new restaurants, going to eat ice cream or fro-yo, hosting dinners and BBQs, and playing board games with our friends and family.

Our Home & Pets

Our home in Texas is two stories with a large, open-concept living room and kitchen, perfect for family gatherings. We have a fenced-in courtyard nestled in the middle of the home with an outdoor kitchen, swimming pool, upstairs sundeck, and gated backyard. Downstairs is a master bedroom and a nursery currently converted into an office. The second floor has a large media room, two guest bedrooms with full baths, and a second office. We have also closed on a lot for our new beach vacation home! Our family is devoted to fostering, rescuing, and adopting dogs. We have three rescues who have stolen our hearts; the trio are all extremely bonded, docile, great with kids, and well traveled and can’t wait to have a “real” baby brother or sister.

Our Extended Family

Giana is a middle child in a close-knit family of five. Our favorite holiday is Christmas. We have many holiday traditions, which include ALWAYS wearing matching pajamas (including the pups), Secret Santa gift exchange, White Elephant gift trade on Christmas Eve, countless hours of board games, and gingerbread house making.

Ray grew up with three sisters and has two adult children of his own from a previous marriage; he has the opportunity to work with his youngest sister as they are both heavily involved in a non-profit organization.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are incredibly grateful that you are taking the time to learn about us, and we hope to have the opportunity to learn about you. Today our family is vibrant and full of love and laughter; we enjoy experiencing the world with our family, friends, and three rescue dogs. We strongly feel God has a child, or twins, in mind for our open hearts and home to complete us. It is through our love and devotion to one another, family, and God that we felt a strong desire and call to expand our family through adoption. If you feel our family would be a good fit, we promise to raise your child in a loving and joy-filled home with an incredibly supportive extended family that is ready to share their love.
