dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I can only imagine how many emotions come with this journey, and I want you to know that I am here for you — as much or as little as you need — every step of the way.

The birth of a baby is a remarkable story, and like every great story, this one has a hero — and that hero is you. There may be ups and downs along the way, but this story is one of love, courage, and hope. You are making an incredibly selfless decision to choose a family who will love your child unconditionally. Please know that I will be here praying for you, thinking of you, and holding you in my heart through this journey.

Your child’s life will be filled with love and adventure — summers spent at the zoo, museums, parks, and exploring new places. As they grow, their story will be full of laughter, memories, and joy. And through it all, they will always know that their story began with one of the most selfless and loving acts — the choice made by the hero of their story: you.

Thank you for reading my profile and watching my video. Your courage and strength are truly inspiring, and I will always be in awe of the love behind your decision.

My Lifestyle

From Monday to Friday, I work as a Senior Accountant for a remote-first company. Working from home gives me the flexibility to enjoy life outside of work and spend time with the people I love. Family means everything to me. I’m financially stable and feel very fortunate to live with my parents and to be just a few blocks away from my brother and sister-in-law. We often spend time together going to the zoo, seeing plays, or visiting museums downtown.

I also love to travel and explore new places, finding local spots and experiences that make each town unique. During the winter months, I enjoy cozy evenings with a good book, puzzles, or board games. I’ve always been a curious person and an avid learner, and I love sharing what I learn with others.

My Home & Neighborhood

I’ve lived in the same neighborhood my entire life, in the home my mom grew up in. I even attended the same schools she did and had some of the same teachers. My home is in a wonderful, central location where everything is easily accessible, including downtown, the zoo, museums, theme parks, and shopping malls. My town is small, with about 11,000 people, giving it a warm, close-knit feel. The schools and parks have all been newly renovated, and the library is within walking distance, just down the block from my home and the elementary school. It’s a safe and welcoming community — a perfect place for a child to grow up surrounded by family, friends, and opportunities to explore and learn.

My Family & Friends

I feel so lucky to live with my mom and dad and just a few blocks away from my brother and sister-in-law. They have two horses and a miniature horse that competes in riding events during the summer weekends. I love going to watch and making it an all-day experience. I also have three cousins who live in the same state and two who live out of state, and whenever we get together, there’s always plenty of laughter and love.
Family is a big part of my life, and we make the most of every opportunity to spend time together. During the holidays, we gather to share meals, exchange stories, and enjoy each other’s company. It’s a time filled with warmth and togetherness. In the summer, we host pool parties and spend time at my brother’s house making homemade pizza in his outdoor oven and watching big games or movies on his outdoor screen.

These moments remind me how special family is and how grateful I am for the close relationships we share. I look forward to creating these same kinds of memories and traditions with a child — ones filled with love, laughter, and connection.

Adoption in My Life

Adoption has always been close to my heart. It’s a big part of my family’s story—on both my mom’s and dad’s sides, there have been experiences of both adopting and being adopted. Growing up surrounded by those stories, I saw how love creates family in the most beautiful way. My aunt’s adoption journey especially touched me, and ever since I was young, I’ve known that I wanted to open my heart in that same way someday.

Now that I’m ready to become a parent, adoption feels like where I’m meant to be. I want to create a home filled with laughter, warmth, and unconditional love—where a child will always know how deeply they are loved.
