Family Type: Heterosexual Couple
State we live in: Tennessee

dear expectant mother

There are very few words that can express our gratitude for you and your consideration of us as parents for your child. The decisions you are facing are life changing, unbelievably admirable, and proof of your selflessness. We want you to know our journey to parenthood would not be possible without your bravery, and we are here to support you in every way we can.

As parents, we promise to give your child the unconditional love and stability we have experienced our entire lives. We will meet all of their needs and ensure they receive an education and foundation to be thriving adults. Our days will be filled with laughter, impromptu dance parties, singing off key, and love from those close to us. We promise to teach them that our lives together would not be possible without the greatest gift of love imaginable and that this gift came from you.

While this is merely a glimpse into our lives, our hope is that we have the opportunity to share more of ourselves and family. We are blessed with an incredible support system and an unwavering desire to become parents, and we would love for you to be part of our journey. We will hold true to our promise to honor you and support the future relationship you wish to have with our family, no matter what that might look like.

Thank you for considering our family and making our greatest of dreams come true!

Thank you for considering our family and making our greatest of dreams come true!

About Us

We both grew up in East Tennessee and met while working together five years ago. Ginger is a nurse practitioner currently working in pediatrics and urgent care, and Bryan is an established retail manager who has been with his company for over 20 years. Soon after meeting, we began dating and have been married for almost three years. We have always had a strong desire to start a family and can’t wait to begin that next chapter in our lives. We enjoy spending time with each other and our families. Watching baseball, listening to live music, going on family vacations, and exploring new cities are some of our favorite things. Ginger loves Bryan’s laidback personality and his love for family; he is an incredible provider and amazing father to his two sons. Bryan was drawn to Ginger by her outgoing personality, sense of humor, and desire to help others.

Our Home & Pets

We currently live in a small community in East Tennessee that is located in the same neighborhood as Ginger’s childhood home. We are fortunate to have a four-bedroom home with a large yard that is perfect for playing and running with our dogs, Nyla and Wrigley. In the summer, you can find us by the pool or at a baseball game! Our local school district offers a multitude of educational opportunities and extracurricular activities. Multiple highly recognized universities are within an hour or less. We are just a short drive from the mountains, lakes, amusement parks, zoos, aquariums, and ballparks.

Our Extended Family

Family is an important part of our daily lives. We both come from supportive families that have been involved in our continuing journey to become parents. We each have younger brothers who have families of their own, two nephews, one niece, and a new niece on the way. Bryan has two sons, both of whom are married; we have one granddaughter and a new grandbaby on the way as well. Ginger has a close relationship with her cousin, who has always been more like a little sister. We both have a special bond with Ginger’s cousin who blessed our entire family through adoption five years ago.

We spend holidays with both sides of our families, often all together, which makes holidays incredibly special. Every Fourth of July is spent at the beach. Watching the military planes fly over the ocean on Independence Day has become one of our favorite summer traditions.

Every September we head to the beach for vacation with both of our families. We go to a minor league baseball game each year, catch a sunset or two from the shore, and chase down an ice cream truck for a treat with our youngest nephew.

What Led Us To Adoption

Sometimes life's journey takes you down unexpected but beautiful paths. Ginger has always dreamed of being a mother. Following difficulties conceiving on our own and failed fertility treatments, we opened our hearts to foster care. After our first placements returned to their families, we realized our desire to have a child was much greater. We then began navigating the route to adoption. We have witnessed the life-changing impact adoption can have on our family. Bryan began his journey to fatherhood through the adoption of his eldest son. Our lives have also been blessed through the adoption of Ginger’s cousin’s child, whom we have a special relationship with. Naturally, adoption feels like the right choice for us!
