dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We want to thank you for considering this truly selfless sacrifice. It takes a lot of courage and strength to do what you’re considering doing. We want you to know how grateful we are for you reading our profile. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. If you choose us, our promise to you is to provide this child with a loving home filled with kindness and joy.

This will be our second adoption. Nadia is now three. She loves joking, dancing, singing, and playing with friends. She is very loving and excited to become a big sister. We decided to adopt again because we both have so much love to give to a child and love being parents. To us, raising children is the most important thing we can do in our lifetime.

We will respect your wishes when it comes to communication. Our daughter’s birthmom wanted to be in our daughter’s life, so we text pictures once a week, FaceTime, and visit annually. The more loving people in our child’s life, the better! Our daughter’s birthmom told us, “Thank you so much for giving Nadia the life I always wanted for her.” If chosen as your child’s adoptive parents, we will give this child the tools and skills to have a loving childhood and great life.

We will give your child a loving, nurturing environment and all the tools necessary to become the best possible person she or he can be.

We want you to know how grateful we are for you reading our profile. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

About Us

We met 13 years ago through mutual friends. The first night we met, we discovered we both had a passion for traveling and traveled abroad the same year to many of the same countries. Dallas always treats people with respect and dignity, no matter their social status, and that has translated to being a kind, caring husband and father. We share a strong connection with each other, and we see eye to eye on most subjects. We both enjoy hiking, biking, yoga, and film. Musically, we are a little bit different. Heather is much more refined. She grew up going to the symphony and opera, whereas Dallas grew up going to Skateland and cheesy movies with his dad. Heather has always had a strong spiritual connection. She continues to bring compassion and tolerance into our home and community.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a medium-sized town in the Midwest. Our home is a four-bedroom split entry with a very large yard that is almost a half acre! We have about 15 mature trees that line the perimeter of our backyard. We are lucky to have many neighbors with young children who we see regularly. We have an awesome elementary school where our daughter attends preschool, and there are many parks and trails nearby. We will be adding a goldfish to our family soon.

Our Extended Family

Heather’s side of the family includes a brother and sister, both of whom are married. Her sister and her husband have two children; her brother and his wife have four children. The cousins all play very well together with our daughter and are excited to welcome another child. Heather’s sister is very close with our daughter, and they have a very special relationship. Both of Heather’s parents enjoy being grandparents and spending time with our daughter.

Dallas is an only child; his mother and our daughter are very close and love playing together. Dallas’s dad lives out of town and visits during holidays. Dallas is also close with his cousins; they meet every five years for family reunions but FaceTime often. Both sides of our family are very excited to hear we are adopting again and are just as excited as we are to welcome a baby to the family!

Our Adoption Story

We chose adoption because we wanted to be parents and give a child a loving home. From the beginning, we established a relationship with the birthmother and her family. We consider our daughter’s birthmother to be part of our family. She was so excited to hear that we are adopting again. We made the decision to adopt again because we love being parents, we have so much love to give another child, and we would love for Nadia to have a sibling. Heather’s mom, sister, and nieces and Dallas’s mom have developed strong relationships with our little girl. Both of our families are so excited to welcome a new addition to our family.
