dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

The awe and inspiration we feel is more than words can say. We feel so honored you are considering us to raise your blessed child. It is a dream, an inspiration, and an honor.

We come from a large family, and support and traditions are something we have and hold dear to us, such as regular Sunday dinners with our families. We can’t wait to see the sibling relationship between your child and our son. It is a relationship that can live on much longer than we will. We can’t wait to teach your child our holiday traditions, travel to other countries, go to Disney, make cookies together, and teach him or her about the unconditional love a pet gives as well as how important family is.

We have so much love to give to your child, and we would be honored if you would allow us to love your child. The decision you are making is one your child will know you did not make lightly, and we will honor that. We hope to teach your child gratitude, humor, play, honesty, happiness, acceptance, diversity, integrity, and, most of all, love.

God bless you on your journey, and should you choose us, know we will create a home full of happiness and love and your child will always know they are our truest blessing.

We are eternally grateful to you,
Renee, Heather, and Jaxon

We have so much love to give to your child, and we would be honored if you would allow us to love your child.

About Us

We met on Match.com over eight years ago. Renee is a clinical social worker who works with youth, and Heather is a Senior Project Manager for a nationally known company. We are both dedicated to our passions. We are hardworking, loving, funny, determined, caring, and supportive. Family is very important to both of us, and we cannot wait to keep sharing our love we have for each other, our son, our fur babies, and our family with our children. Becoming moms has been the dream we had forever, and once we adopted our son, we felt like part of our puzzle was complete. We love to spend time with our family, travel, watch movies, go walking and do things outdoors.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is a two-story house with six bedrooms and five bathrooms. We have six acres and stay busy with friends and family coming over. It has a huge fenced-in backyard to keep our dogs and cat safe. Our son is our life. We never knew love like this until we adopted. Our neighborhood is very safe, and we are friends with most of our neighbors. Our town is small, and we have so many fun things for children to do, from the July Fourth parade to the New Year’s safe night, the Christmas parade, Halloween trick-or-treating, the community Thanksgiving dinner, and the several parks as well as rec leagues in our area.

Our Extended Family

Renee’s immediate family is large, and she is the middle child between two brothers. She also has a stepsister as well as one niece and three nephews. She has several godchildren whom she sees on a regular basis, except for the one we travel to Panama to visit. Renee’s family all live here in Virginia, within five to ten minutes of us.

Heather’s immediate family is not very large, but her older sister and her father live in the area. She has a niece as well, whom she helped raise with her sister. She has several godchildren whom she adores and spends a lot of time with. Heather’s immediate family also lives within five miles of us.

Without the support of both of our families, we wouldn't be where we are today. The joy they feel thinking about another grandchild/niece/nephew/ cousin just makes our hearts explode even more.

Our Adoption Story

We have been foster parents in the past. We both knew we wanted to be moms since we were little girls, but the question always was how we were going to grow our family. Adoption has been part of our lives with both family and friends, who have both experienced creating adoption plans or being placed for adoption, and we have seen the wonderful impact it has had on them. We cannot wait to continue to expand our family through adoption and we truly feel this is the path we have been led to. Our first adoption was wonderful, and we only hope for the same for this one.
