dear expectant mother

Dear Expecting Mother,

First and foremost, thank you. Thank you for your courage, your strength, and the love you carry for the child you are bringing into the world. Thank you for thinking about their future with such care and compassion. As hopeful adoptive parents, we want you to know how deeply we respect and admire you. We understand this is not an easy path and that your choices come from a place of profound love. Please know that whatever you decide, we are here with support and compassion. For several years, we have dreamed of growing our family. Our home is filled with laughter, warmth, and unconditional love, and we are ready to share that with a child. We promise to provide a safe, nurturing environment where they can always be fully themselves.

If you choose us, your child will always know how truly loved they are—not only by us, but by you. Their story will always honor your love, and we will celebrate that openly. We are open to building the kind of relationship that feels right for you, guided by openness, honesty, and respect for your wishes. Our story is waiting to grow—not just with a child, but with you. No matter what path you choose, we are sending you love, admiration, and support.

With joy and thankfulness,

About Us

Hello! We are Holly and Holly, though to our close family we’re known as Bubba and Sunny. We’re both easygoing and love making adventures out of the little things. We enjoy discovering new restaurants and spending time with our extended family. Both of us are teachers—Holly A works in an elementary school, and Holly V teaches at a middle school. Outside the classroom, we love cooking meals together, working on jigsaw puzzles, and reading. Summers are often filled with exploring new cities, attending sporting events, and admittedly watching too much Netflix. A fun hobby we share is collecting magnets from the places we visit and Pop vinyl figures of our favorite things. Family is a big part of our lives, and several times a week we gather with our cousins to play games.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We recently moved into our dream home, with plenty of space to grow our family. Our neighborhood is quiet, welcoming, and full of friendly neighbors who have made us feel right at home. There’s a small playground within the neighborhood, and we’re close to several parks, making it easy to spend time outdoors. While our town is small and charming, we’re just a short drive from larger cities that offer endless opportunities for adventure. We share our home with Fitz, our black-and-white cat who proudly thinks he’s king of the castle. Though independent, he loves his bedtime snuggles and lap time with his mommas. Fitz is already spoiled with treats, and we know he’ll be more than ready to share his kingdom with a little one.

Our Family & Friends

We both come from small immediate families, and since Holly A is an only child, she has loved sharing in the joy and responsibility of being a “big sister” to Holly V’s younger brother. Though we live far apart, we have a special bond with our “little brother” and treasure the time we get to spend with him. The soon-to-be grandparents are overjoyed at the thought of welcoming a new grandchild into their lives. Since learning about our adoption journey, their excitement has only grown—they often talk about the adventures they’ll share and are eager to surround this child with unconditional love and support. Our extended family is spread across the United States, which makes the times we gather together even more special. Our favorite tradition is celebrating Thanksgiving, when most of the family comes together for several days of food, games, and laughter. We can’t wait to add a little one to the fun and welcome them as part of the “cousin crew.”

What Led Us To Adoption

We are a loving, compassionate, and easygoing couple excited to open our hearts and home through adoption. From the very beginning of our relationship, we knew that our family would not feel complete without children, and we are thrilled to be taking steps to make that dream a reality. As an LGBTQ couple, adoption has always felt like the natural path for us—a beautiful way to find the missing piece of our family puzzle. What excites us most are the everyday moments we’ll get to share with a child: reading bedtime stories, cheering at school events, celebrating milestones, and creating family traditions. We cannot wait to surround a child with love, encouragement, and joy as they grow into exactly who they are meant to be.
