About Us

We are Rana and Houman, happily together for almost fifteen years and with over seven of those years as a married couple. Our life is richly woven with deep connections to family and friends and constantly filled with gatherings that bring everyone closer through good food, laughter, and shared moments. In our careers, we both follow our passions—Houman in the dynamic world of fintech, thrilled by its challenges and innovations, and Rana in the creative realm of jewelry design, where she brings beauty and joy to those that appreciate her art. Our home is the heart of our social life, always buzzing with activities, whether it’s movie nights, watching sports, or culinary adventures with loved ones. We're excited to bring a child into this vibrant environment, offering them a nurturing space filled with laughter, learning, and love. We eagerly anticipate welcoming a little one into our lively world and are ready to share every joy and discovery along the way!

Our Home & Neighborhood

We live in sunny Southern California, a place known for its beautiful weather and stunning beaches. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe, featuring a close-knit community where children freely play and neighbors often gather for outdoor activities. Everything we need, from parks to grocery stores and hospitals, is just a short drive away. We adore pets and look forward to adding a furry member to our family once our child joins us. Pets bring so much joy and companionship, and we can’t wait to see the bond they will form with our future child. This wonderful environment, combined with the excellent local schools, makes our home the perfect place to raise a family.

Our Family & Friends

We both come from warm, loving families, where being the youngest has its own charm. Rana has a sister just two years her senior and a host of cousins. Growing up, weekends were filled with family gatherings, where all the cousins played and grew up together, creating a bond that still holds strong despite the distances some of us now navigate due to immigration.

Houman shares a similar background, being the youngest with siblings who are quite a bit older. His move to the U.S. was more of a homecoming, reuniting him with his brother and sister, who had moved earlier. This transition not only brought him closer geographically but also deepened our familial connections in this new setting.

Our extended families are integral to our lives. We keep the traditions alive and are always weaving new memories, whether through frequent visits or holiday celebrations. As we think about adding a child to our family, we’re excited to introduce them to these traditions and the loving, supportive network that has shaped us.

What Led Us To Adoption

From the beginning, we shared a dream of enriching our family through adoption, a commitment rooted in love and anticipation. Even before we were married, we knew our journey would lead us to a child needing a nurturing home. We've prepared a life filled with stability, warmth, and opportunities, aiming to support and cherish a child's dreams and adventures. As we prepare to welcome a new member into our home, our hearts overflow with excitement and readiness. We eagerly await the chance to provide a loving environment where our future child can flourish surrounded by care and endless possibilities.
