Family Type: Gay Couple
State we live in: California

dear expectant mother

We are so grateful you’ve made it this far through our profile and are considering giving us the greatest gift we will ever receive. There are no words that can truly describe the generosity of spirit you must have to consider adoption or the hardship you are going through while faced with this seemingly impossible decision.

With all the uncertainty involved in this process, we would like to promise you the following: If you choose us as the adoptive parents of your child, we will love them completely, protect them fiercely, and educate them thoroughly. They will know nothing but love and kindness and be raised surrounded by caring and thoughtful family and friends. We will give your child every opportunity to excel and succeed in anything their heart desires. We will make sure they grow into an amazing person we can all be proud of. Most importantly, they will know where they came from. We will make sure they know about your love and the sacrifice you made to give them the best life possible because you loved them so much.

Nothing would make us happier than to go through this journey with you, creating a relationship that will change all our lives forever. We will always be there for you to lean on so you know you are not alone. We can’t wait to meet you.

With all the uncertainty involved in this process, we would like to promise you the following: If you choose us as the adoptive parents of your child, we will love them completely, protect them fiercely, and educate them thoroughly.

About Us

Bradley was born and raised in Southern California, while Ian grew up in England and emigrated to the U.S. at 16. We first met seven years ago and have been inseparable since that moment. Bradley is an excellent chef and baker, so we often spend our evenings sitting down to a home-cooked meal with the company of friends and family for dinner or game nights. Whether it is soccer tournaments, trying new foods, or wrangling our nieces and nephews at the beach, we’ve been by each other’s side. That culminated in our dream wedding surrounded by our family and friends dancing the night away. The most important thing to us is the time we are able to spend together, so we feel blessed that while Bradley takes care of the home, Ian is never far away as he works in his home office.

Our Home & Pets

Our four-bedroom house in Southern California is surrounded by appealing parks and beaches, friendly neighbors, and excellent schools. We have lived in this house for seven years and are completely in love with the city. Together with our two dogs, Jay Jay and Sniffles, we have turned this house into our beautiful home. We look forward to adding another member to our family and filling our home with even more laughter and love than we ever thought possible.

Our Extended Family

We have family and friends spread all over the globe but are particularly lucky to have Bradley’s parents and siblings in the same city as us and are able to see them regularly, along with our nieces and nephews, who are very special to us.

One of our most cherished family traditions is spending Christmas with Ian’s family in England. We make the trip every year we are able and spend our time catching up with the large and inclusive family we share there. Of course, in the summer, they are more than happy to return the favor by staying with us and enjoying the California sunshine.

Both our families are very excited about the prospect of welcoming a new addition and are eager to be as involved as possible.

What Led Us To Adoption

Early on we knew we wanted children, but the real question was when and how. We decided being married and having a stable home first was a good start, but then how should we do it? Adoption! This was an easy decision for us because we believe families come in many shapes and sizes. We both have large families already, and with their support, we have the foundation to give a child a wonderful life.
