Indiia & Fujio

Family Type: Traditional
State we live in: Texas

dear expectant mother

We are so grateful you are considering us to be the parents of your precious child. Welcoming your child into our home would be the greatest blessing. We have a lot of love to give, and your sweet baby will be loved and safe in our home. Raising a child is something we have hoped and prayed for, and we feel so fortunate to be considered. Throughout our 12 years together, we’ve often talked about the memories we want to make with our children. We’re both so excited to become parents and meet our child, to learn what they love to do. We expect to learn a lot about the world through watching our child grow up.

Then there are the holidays! Every year we dress up for Halloween and hand out candy. It will be so much fun to actually go out and trick-or-treat with our child. The family costume possibilities are endless! Perhaps the Incredibles? Or the Proud Family? We have lots of ideas. Thanksgiving and Christmas will be so special with our child with cooking and baking together and spending time with family and friends.

Thank you for considering making our dream of becoming parents come true!

Welcoming your child into our home would be the greatest blessing. We have a lot of love to give, and your sweet baby will be loved and safe in our home.

About Us

We met on an online dating site when we both lived in Arizona. We knew after our third date we had something special. We connected through our love of the arts, travel, comedy, ’90s throwback jams, Marvel movies, Bob’s Burgers, and Mexican food. We find a reason to laugh every day, we are open and honest with each other, and we have a sense of adventure and wonder. We’re always learning and growing as individuals and as a couple. Fujio is a senior solution database architect for a database company. He works from home and travels to clients in other states or countries on occasion. Indiia is a voice-over actor, director, and theater teacher. She feels so fortunate to do what she loves for a living, and it allows her to work from home in her studio. Indiia is also a founding member of two artist organizations in our city.

Our Home & Pets

We love our neighborhood. There are so many lovely families here. People are always out with their dogs and children. There are parent groups in the neighborhood that we’re looking forward to joining so we can have that support. Our HOA does a great job of planning activities. We have food trucks, movie nights, camping in the park, scavenger hunts, and bands come here to play. We can’t wait to go to the neighborhood park and play on the slide. We’re looking forward to walks with the stroller and our puppy. Fujio is especially looking forward to teaching our child how to swim, and our community pool is a great place. We also love that our home has enough space to host family for the holidays.

Our Extended Family

As an only child, Indiia spent a lot of time with her parents; they had their own special traditions. For example, every Friday was family night. They ordered pizza, watched TGIF, and then played board games. India’s family has horses, so she spent quite a bit of her childhood getting up early on Saturdays and going with her dad to horse shows. For holidays, it was always Thanksgiving at her grandma’s house with her aunts, uncles, and cousins and then Christmas at home. Every Christmas Eve, she was allowed to open one gift from her stocking. India’s parents are excited to be grandparents. They are so ready to spoil their grandbaby rotten! Indiia’s grandma is 90, and she’s so excited to have another great-grandchild.

As a child, Fujio went to Japan frequently to visit his grandmother and other relatives. It was a very special part of his childhood and one he’d like to share with his child. We both grew up going to amusement parks and can’t wait to go back to Disney with our child.

What Led Us To Adoption

We talked about adoption early on in our relationship. Indiia worked in education for nearly 20 years, and Fujio was a volunteer with Big Brothers, Big Sisters. We want to be parents, no matter how that happens. We found getting pregnant was going to be difficult for Indiia, so we started looking at our options. We have several friends who’ve adopted, and their stories have given us hope. One childhood friend of Indiia’s has adopted three children as infants over the years, and seeing her with her girls brings us a lot of joy and hope. Friends of ours adopted a sweet baby boy two years ago. Like us, they struggled to conceive, and now we’ve never seen them happier. We want that for us.
