Jacob & Danielle

Family Type: Heterosexual Couple
State we live in: Pennsylvania

dear expectant mother

We would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for learning about us. We seriously never thought this day would come where we would be on our journey to grow our family. Because Danielle is unable to carry a biological child, we never thought we would ever become parents. Now, because you are considering this selfless decision, we might finally become a family instead of just husband and wife. This is truly a dream come true.

We admire your strength and courage when making decisions for your child. If you choose us, your baby will be loved immensely and will grow up in a safe home. It’s hard to demonstrate just how grateful we would be. The only way we know how to show it is by expressing it with our utmost commitment to your child’s health, upbringing, education, and everything in between and beyond.

If you bless us by making us parents, you will always remain a part of our hearts as well as your child’s heart. You will not just be giving your child the gift of life, but you would be giving us the gift of a new life. A life with a child. A fulfilled life.

Thank you. These words seem simple, but they say it best. Thank you for considering us!

We seriously never thought this day would come where we would be on our journey to grow our family.

About Us

After spending three years working away from his home state of Arkansas, Jacob met Danielle in her home state of West Virginia. We met one another in person after spending only a month talking online through a dating app. We hit it off right away. Living only an hour apart, we started seeing each other more and more. Jacob then took a job opportunity in Alabama. Danielle and her new puppy, Bo, were invited to join in on the adventure. Two years later, after adopting two additional rescue dogs, Jacob proposed to Danielle. We then moved back to West Virginia and got married with all three dogs by our side. Now living in Pennsylvania with five fur-babies, we are looking forward to actual parenthood.

Our Home & Pets

In 2019 we decided to increase our family with the addition of two adorable puppies: Josie, an American bulldog, and Oliver (Beans), a French bulldog. In early 2021, we adopted our fifth dog, Mabel, another French bulldog, thinking we would never have a child. We own our house in a suburban neighborhood, and we have ample space between our neighbors. We have a large, fenced-in backyard with room enough for the pups to run around and more. We cannot wait to expand the yard to include activities for a child.

Our Extended Family

Jacob was born in Northwest Arkansas. He is the youngest of two children. His sister is six years older than him. Jacob’s entire extended family is rooted in eastern North Carolina. His parents still live together in Northwest Arkansas, along with his sister’s family. Jacob has four nieces, and he loves being an uncle!

Danielle was born in West Virginia. Her parents were West Virginia natives with a large extended family, although Danielle is an only child. Having no siblings, Danielle grew up very close to her animal companions. Danielle adopted a puppy who had been left broken and abandoned. Bo, a bulldog mix, was born deaf and was found abandoned with a broken leg. Without a known owner, the vet was planning to put the puppy down. Danielle, not willing to let that happen, adopted Bo, and the two became an instant match for each other.

What Led Us To Adoption

Having been born with a genetic disease, Danielle isn’t able to carry biological children. Even as a small child, she dreamed of the day she could be a mother despite the complications. Since we met in 2011, Danielle’s health was our main focus as Danielle’s lung function became worse and worse with each year. By 2018 Danielle had qualified for a lifesaving double-lung transplant. Since 2019 Danielle’s health has been on the mend, allowing her to experience things she’d never been able to do in the past. Doctors still advise against pregnancy, but we know there are other options to make our dream of parenthood possible. Reaching a point of stability professionally, physically, and mentally, we now look forward to the next chapter of loving and raising a child.
