Jaimee & Darren

Family Type: Heterosexual Couple
State We live in: Connecticut

dear expectant mother

We are in awe of your strength as you consider adoption. We have a lot of love to give and only wish for the opportunity to give it. Our wish is that your child will be happy and will know they are loved. It is the simple things in life that are important to us: a safe home, good health, and happiness.

Your child will know they are adopted from the beginning, and they will know what a difficult decision their mother made and how much she loves them. We will teach them to enjoy the simple things in life; they will spend their time experiencing life rather than watching it on social media. They will learn about love, respect, hard work, and, most of all, fun. We believe education is important and will provide your child with whatever assistance is needed. Should you choose us to raise your child, you can be assured that they will have a happy, fulfilling life and the world will be theirs to explore. You can also be assured that the gift you give will never be taken for granted.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, whatever decision you make. This is your decision, and it must be right for you. Thank you for taking a look inside our lives.

Sincerely,
Darren and Jaimee

About Us

We are Darren and Jaimee from Connecticut. We met in June 2014 and were engaged in December 2016. Darren is hardworking and creative. Jaimee is a good cook, honest, and intelligent. We got married in Connecticut in June 2017. We recently moved into our forever home. Jaimee volunteers at a local food bank, helping those in need in the community. Darren has a career as an accounting manager close to home. Darren likes to joke and is always cheerful, and Jaimee is both generous and nurturing. We both look forward to sharing many memories with our future children. We enjoy the country life, and some of our best laughs are spent on the back porch with family and friends.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We live in a suburban town in the northeast with great neighbors, where everybody knows everybody but only minutes away from shopping. Our house is tucked back in the woods, and we have a big backyard surrounded by trees. We currently own a three-bedroom, colonial-style home on three acres. Nearby there are numerous parks for everyone’s enjoyment. The town green has a library with multiple events for all ages. There are several farms in the town where you can pick your fruit and vegetables. The town green has activities for all holidays and events throughout the year.

Our Family & Friends

We both have very loud families. We have ten nieces and nephews, which can be chaotic and fun during the holidays and barbeques. We host Thanksgiving, and the whole family sits down together for Thanksgiving dinner. For Christmas, our home is all decked out with a Christmas village. Darren’s mother hosts Christmas, and we exchange gifts, have some food, and play card games. For the Fourth of July, we go to Darren’s brother’s house, and we have a barbeque and play games. Some games we play together are charades, volleyball, and slip n’ slide. Jaimee’s sister hosts New Year’s Eve, when we reminisce on all the year's events and what we plan to do in the new year. Our families are excited to add a new future child to our family.

What Led Us To Adoption

We always knew we wanted a family and realized we couldn’t have children biologically. Adoption has always been something we’ve talked about. Jaimee was adopted into a loving family along with her two biological sisters. Growing up adopted gave Jaimee a strong sense of gratitude to provide a loving home for our future children. Having firsthand knowledge of the challenges associated with adoption, we as parents can be supportive and understanding of our future children’s needs. Darren was raised by an amazing mother and father who showed him unconditional love. We would be honored to bring a child into our loving home.
